Coming In Hot | Recalibrate, Retreat, Reprioritize

Hello and welcome to August!

I hope this finds you well as we move into a brand new month. If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, you’re probably experiencing some big heat as this month is traditionally very hot. But no matter where you may call home, this month, we’re starting off with big energies which can feel very intense even if it may be cooler in your corner of the world. Along with the big energies, very strong messages and themes have been coming through for support. (thankfully) I’m going to share some of the most prescient messages with you in the hope that they will offer you some additional comfort, support, and insight.

You may know that we’re already inside the Mercury Retrograde window. This round began in the middle of July and will be with us for another 10 days not including the shadow period that follows. There are several retrogrades happening right now in addition to this Mercury Retrograde. Elizabeth Pendleton has shared very detailed information about this here and if you would like to get all the details about the astrological insights happening right now, I encourage you to go over for a visit. (You may remember Elizabeth as a regular guest on my former podcast, she’s amazing!)

The messages that have been coming through have been about how to more easily move through this shift we’re going through. You may have noticed that some days you feel like you are getting so much done that it feels like one day is several days all wrapped up into one. Other days you may feel like you can’t believe how fast the day has gone by and that you can’t remember what if anything got done. You may be experiencing some ascension symptoms too which can vary from one day to the next which can compound these feelings that each day is very different from the day before. If any of this resonates for you, please know that you’re not alone, in fact you’re in really good company.

The first big theme that has been coming through is about Recalibrating. You may have noticed that with all of the energies coming through that your body, mind, heart, and spirit may be experiencing a lot of shifts and changes too. Maybe you’re noticing a lot of emotional waves showing up for you or maybe your body needs more rest than usual. Perhaps you’re feeling guided to eat lighter foods and drink even more water than what tends to be normal for you. Maybe you’re finding that loud sounds, bright light, and even background noise can feel overwhelming when it never really bothered you much before. Maybe you’re finding your threshold for crowded places seems to be lower than it used to be in the past. Maybe you’re remembering that old adage about good fences making good neighbors…and thinking about how you can apply that to other places and spaces in your life because you’re just done with all the things that don’t resonate with you anymore. Maybe you’re experiencing all of these things in different amounts on different days. This energy is creating change all around us and we are experiencing its impact within and around us too. We are absolutely recalibrating and the more we can honor the needs of our mind, body, heart, and spirit to the best of our ability the more gently we can move through this energy shift.

Retreat is the next theme that has been coming through as a support system. You may notice right away how this message works hand in hand with Recalibrate. The more that you can give yourself permission to retreat from the things that are no longer honoring you (to the best of your ability) the more you can let down, and move into a state of rest and renewal. Retreat can encompass a lot of different things, including but not limited to taking a 15 minute tech break, going for a walk, or saying yes to something that brings you joy. Retreat can also include day trips, scheduling self care treatments, or settling into a good book. Retreat can also include saying no to things and people that aren’t compatible with you and your value system. It can include true rest, good sleep, and investing in calming, soothing spaces so you can let down and retreat from the day. Creating ways to honor this theme throughout your day to day life will allow you to move through this shift more easily while also supporting you in cultivating a lifestyle that’s in alignment with where you are right now.

As you may have already guessed, Reprioritize is the final message for today. Just like Retreat followed Recalibrate, we have Reprioritize as the closer for this 3 part message. Organically, we can see how as we shift or change anything in our life, things change. You know that saying nothing changes if nothing changes? This is what’s happening right now, and it’s happening organically because when something changes, things change. You don’t need to try to stop things from changing because the change is already happening, it’s already in motion. If you’re someone who loves and enjoys change, this message about reprioritizing may feel exhilarating and exciting for you. Fantastic, lean into that energy to support you in making your new priorities and new focus. If you find that change can be a bit of an opportunity for growth for you and you find yourself trying to hang onto things and situations that have run their course, take heart and a breath. Even seemingly small shifts when it comes to reprioritizing leads to positive change. Focus on what you’re being guided toward and if you feel like you’re not ready to let some things go, give yourself permission to set them on the back burner. The energy is already in motion so if you’re not sure about what is clearing out for you, pay attention to the things that are trying to get your attention and your focus and notice what things feel like they’re naturally moving away from you. This will give you a clearer insight into what you’re being guided to reprioritize right now.

As you move through these big changes, the more you can remember to Recalibrate, Retreat, and Reprioritize, the more ease you’ll find in this process. Please remember that there’s no one way to do this, there are lots of ways and the ways that matter are the ways that resonate for you and your life. You may find that what works one day is different from the next day. Just be gentle with yourself during this process and please reach out for support when you need it. Sometimes when we try to do everything on our own for a long period of time it can make things feel more difficult. Maybe reprioritizing receiving help can be a support system for you right now. Please remember you can ask your angels and guides for support and help during this time (and every time) as well. If you feel like you could use some extra courage, confidence, or protection, you can work with Archangel Michael for some additional support. Reassess, Reengage, and Repeat

Hello and welcome to August~
I hope this finds you well as we begin a new month. I feel like so much has happened since we last connected and I have a feeling you may be experiencing it too.  Does it feel a bit like a whirlwind has been happening? Almost as if days feel like weeks and then sometimes weeks feel like days? You’re not alone and no, you’re not imagining it either. So much is happening that it can be a bit of a challenge to take a break and focus on one thing at a time while also remembering to take a little time for you too.

So, on that note, let’s take a little deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth….good. Take a moment to release any tension, tightness, or stress you may be holding onto inside of your body. And double check to make sure you aren’t holding your breath and release any tension in your tummy…good. Go ahead and take another deep breath in and then out through your mouth…good. You can do this exercise anytime you are feeling any tension or stress or if you notice that your body feels tight or frozen. This helps to reset your nervous system and can support regulating your body so it can get back to rest and digest instead of running fight, flight, freeze, or fawn for long periods of time. This natural stress response can stay activated for long periods of time when we’re experiencing a significant amount of stress and unexpected events over a period of time.

As you may already know or can guess from the title of this newlsetter, Mercury Retrograde is beginning on the 4th of this month and goes through the 28th. However, we’ve already been getting a preview of this energy as its shadow period began on the 16th of July. All we have to do is think about the blue screen update fiasco to get a picture of this energy system that we’re all moving through together. Whether we were personally impacted by the blue screen update, or tried to support people we knew who were impacted, or watched footage of people stuck in airports we are all getting a clear view of this energy. This is a great time to back up files and double check your systems. With everything happening right now, the big theme that’s coming through is all about taking stock or taking a personal inventory of what you’re being guided to address. This can be anything from going over to do lists that have been unattended for whatever reasons, to getting some extra items from the store for a little cushion, or making changes to your schedule so you can have more room to get to the things you are being guided to do. Sometimes one of the best ways we can make an impact is to clear out the stuff that isn’t really relevant right now. Maybe you’re being guided to say no to some things so you can say yes to making your lists or needs a priority. Reassessing your situation is a top priority right now. If you’ve been getting this message too, you’re spot on and I’m just confirming your messages for you.

Once you are clear on what you’re being guided to focus on, try to do one thing at a time so you can see and feel progress being made. I know that it sounds like doing one thing at a time should be a given but I know that you probably tend to do many things all at the same time. So, when you find yourself going into this pattern, give yourself some grace, take a breath, and choose one thing to work on and then work on that one thing, even if only for 15 minutes. If you need to set up a timer, it can really help to calm any stress you may feel about only working on one thing at a time. When the timer rings, you can either take a break, choose to stop, or choose to begin working on something else. This will help you to make real progress and get things off your list while also helping you to decompress and offload some stress at the same time. You’ll also increase your ability to focus on one thing at a time which will make it easier to continue this new pattern. This is the Reengage phase, as it allows you to take action consciously in ways that are supportive for you. This style also allows you to build in Recovery time with an option to take a break and to stop when your timer rings. This is really important right now too; as you can imagine stress can take a toll on our overall health and wellbeing. Taking time for recovery and rest is important and allows you to get back to your reengage phase when you’re ready.

This process of reassess, reengage, and repeat is the big theme coming through right now. Part of this can also include things like rest, renewal, rejuvenate, restore, review, reconnect, remove, respond, retire, recreate etc. The real takeaway here is to give yourself permission to focus on what you are personally being guided to invest in during this cycle. Your Reassess list or information may be similar to someone else’s in your life or it may be really different. By connecting with yourself and asking what you need to focus on you’ll be guided to the things that are right for you. You can take some time in quiet meditation or during a journaling exercise to get clear on what is showing up for you. You can work with your guides or AA Michael, AA Raphael, or AA Uriel to help you get clear on this information. Whatever ways feel right for you as you move through this theme this month will support you in making progress and moving forward one step at a time.
