System Support | Refine Restore Replenish

Happy July~

I hope this finds you well as we begin a new month and as we’re officially into the new summer season here in the Northern Hemisphere. It feels like it’s been so long since we last connected even though it’s only been a handful of weeks. My hope is this that this message will be a gentle supportive salve for your soul. An opportunity to slow down for a bit and take in a bit of calming energy coming through this message for you, today. In fact, let’s start with a nice deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth…beautiful. Feel free to take another deep breath if you feel guided. Take a quick moment to gently scan your neck and shoulders for any tension or tightness and go ahead and release them while you continue breathing. Check for any other places or spaces where your body may be holding onto any tension and go ahead and release it while you continue breathing. Good…just keep taking nice long deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth until you feel a nice calm come over you, supporting you in gentle relaxation.

The importance of gentility, calm, and self-care are very prescient right now. I have a feeling that you’re receiving this message too. I wanted to share some of the messages that I’ve been receiving about this timely theme in the hope that it can offer you some comfort and support as we move through these energies together. You may be receiving messages similar to the ones below or a combination of these things or maybe something very specific to you. Trust that the messages about taking good care of yourself and your well being are very timely for you.

Many people are being guided to focus on a reset right now when we think about our basic systems and environment. There’s a big message about getting back to basics if you will. This is showing up for some people with their physical body. You may notice that you’re (or someone you love is) having some sensitivities or challenges with foods, beverages, or hunger levels that are out of the ordinary for you. You may feel guided to eat gentler foods and be mindful of things that are contributing to upset stomach, bloating, allergies, or anything out of the ordinary for you and adjust accordingly. You may be guided to reach out to a professional if the issue persists for you. Many highly sensitive people are being guided to lighten their foods at this time to gentle things that won’t physically weigh them down or make them drowsy. You may be receiving a message about literally lightening up so that your body is lighter and more easily able to move through these big shifts and changes happening right now. You may find that you need more water than usual or that you crave fresh green juices or hydrating foods.

You may also find that your body is going through an adjustment with sleep. Maybe you’re having a difficult time sleeping or you can’t get enough sleep even though you’re sleeping through the night. Maybe you’re finding yourself moving back and forth between both of these experiences which can be really exhausting. With all the big energies happening right now, sleep is a priority for everyone, especially a highly sensitive soul like yourself. If you can make any shifts to your sleep situation to set yourself up for success, this is a great time to implement those changes. Sometimes, something as simple as changing bedding to something more comfortable, using black out shades, and reducing blue light can make a huge impact in your quality of sleep. Other times, you may find that you need to bank sleep in small additional segments through napping or trying to get to bed earlier than usual.

The next message is about your physical space, the space where you live day to day. There’s a deep call to refine and make your space a place that rises up to greet you to the best of your ability. This is not a message about purchasing a bunch of things for your space. It’s a message about moving the things that aren’t supportive for you out of your space and making your home into a space that’s safe, uplifting, and calming for you. Sometimes this message is about people moving out of the space who aren’t a fit for you as well. If you’ve been meaning to call a non-profit to take away some things that you want to donate, this is a good time to make that call. If you’ve been saying you’re going to list your items and earn some extra money, this is the time to get your items listed. If you’ve been meaning to remove or replace things that are broken, this is a great time to do that. If you’ve been wanting to plant some flowers or complete some projects but haven’t gotten around to them, this is a great time to do these things on your list.

The last message I’m going to share here today (because this note is getting really long and I know you’re busy) is about making time for the things that bring you joy. Any things, all the things, little things, big things, medium things. This is very important and often gets side lined on the order of importance for lots of reasons while adulting. However, I was shown how incredibly important this is to our overall well-being, equally important to the other messages that I’ve included. When we choose to invest in the activities that resonate for us and bring us joy, we feed our souls on a deep level. This level of self-care is imperative and allows us an upswing of support, love, care, and even healing. It’s not about what you choose to do to cultivate this aspect of your life, it’s that you do it. So, play music, run, color, dance, meditate, make something, watch a movie, read a book just for fun, wear your “good clothes,” start a garden, or _____________. A few minutes here and there throughout your day will support your overall wellness and connection to yourself while simultaneously supporting your spiritual well-being as well.

The big theme with each of these messages is about supporting you in feeling healthy, safe, strong, and supported. This will allow you to move through these big changes more easily which will allow you to help those you love and whom you’re guided to help during this particular time. You’re here for a reason and your impact is important. So, take another deep breath for me in through your nose and out through your mouth…beautiful.

Take your time, go at your own pace, and if you need to take a minute to reset, please give yourself permission to do that. I see that big changes continue to be on the horizon for all of us and by honoring these messages now to the best of your ability you'll be better able to navigate the ebbs and flows.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, straight to you!

If you’d like to work with me this month to focus on specific messages that are coming through for you right now, please feel free to click here to get into my schedule.

With deepest love and gratitude, thank you for being here with me,

Inspiration Meets Action

Hello and Happy June!

I hope this finds you well as we move into a new month and a new energy. If arriving at June feels like a combination of shock that it’s actually June but also like it took forever to get here, you’re not alone. So much of this year has felt a bit like trying to move through a swimming pool filled with pudding. Maybe you’ve found yourself working toward a goal or chipping away at a project and found that it took much longer than you anticipated. Maybe it has felt like you’ve invested time and energy to create plans and then find yourself going back to the drawing board or needing to pivot again and again because something just won’t work. If so, again, you’re not alone and things are beginning to pick up the pace and movement is happening.

You may already feel the increase in energy within yourself and within those around you. There’s a quality of things feeling lighter and that things are moving easier and more quickly. You may notice that you feel excited and inspired to circle back to one or more of the projects that you have tried to get going this year and find that things begin to line up for you. One of the positives of resetting and reviewing is that you can really focus on how you want something to be so that when it’s time to take action you are confident in bringing your dreams into reality.

What are some of the things that have been showing up for you this year as themes, inspiration, ideas, or divine guidance that has moved you toward action? If you look back over your year so far you will be able to see or connect with themes that have been important to you. Even if your efforts have felt a bit like taking one step forward and one step back, that’s okay; just take a minute to think about what you’ve been interested in or guided to focus on this year. This is a great time to reconnect to these areas of interest and inspiration for you; and to begin taking action. The combination of knowing what you want to do and moving forward in that direction is very timely this month. You don’t have to do everything all at once and you don’t have to know how to do everything all on your own. Just start with one or two steps and you will see how the momentum begins to move you forward. If you need help or support, please ask for help from someone who can be of service to you. You may find that friends or colleagues have information or support for you or that they can direct you to someone who can help. You may want to reach out to a professional as well so that you can keep your momentum building and experience success in your endeavors. Whether you are building out a garden, a new website, a business, learning a new skill, preparing for a move, working on your meditation practice, increasing your spiritual gifts, or __________________: you can reach out for support when you need it knowing it will help you continue to move forward.

In addition to things moving more easily and a feeling of lightening; you may also notice that you’re being guided to lighten the things that you’re eating and drinking too. You may notice that you feel guided to drink more water or gentle teas and pass on that extra cup of coffee, soda, or energy drink. You may feel like you want to get your juicer out of the cupboard and start juicing again. Maybe you are craving greens, salads, and herbaceous foods. It can feel almost like a switch has been flipped and all of a sudden you want or feel like you need to have all the Phyto-nutrients. This doesn’t mean you won’t want to enjoy other foods and beverages too; it just means you may notice this call to increase lighter foods and beverages in addition to enjoying your other favorites. As a highly sensitive person, this shift in eating will also support you in working with this new energy and help you to move with the ebbs, flows, and shifts that are happening. You’ll find that this combination of lightening your body and the lightening of this energy will support you in more easily gaining traction on your goals and projects.

This is a powerful time to move forward and to enjoy the process at the same time. You’ve been working so diligently all year building the foundation for the changes that you’re bringing into your life and this is a beautiful time to bring those dreams into reality. So, take a breath, let go of any tension or stress that may be trying to hold space within you and give yourself permission to move into this new month with a renewed sense of excitement and inspiration. Focus on doing one thing today to support yourself in moving forward and remember to ask for help when you need it.

If you feel guided to work with me this month, I would love to support you during a session.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you!

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Timing Is Everything

Hello, and Happy May Day to You!
I hope this finds you well as we welcome a new month and here in the Northern Hemisphere we’re officially marking the halfway point between Spring and Summer today. This is an auspicious time and even if you only take a moment to tune into the energy of this halfway point between the seasons, I have a feeling you will be able to feel the gravity of this day. You may even be able to see or feel where you are now and where you would like to be from one season to the next. We get a chance to really future cast on days like today. While we’re knee deep into the Spring season with blooms, fresh starts, and new beginnings happening all around us, we also get to touch base with the future energy of summer too. It’s a fun way to play a little with the energies and the timelines that are happening right now and the one’s that are coming up right around the corner.

With this theme of timing showing up so strongly right now, you may be experiencing this in your life too. Maybe you’re being guided to place your focus on things that are showing up for you right now in big ways. You may have noticed that something you planned to be your focus this season is being shifted into something that’s become the focus for you. Many people are experiencing big changes, including moves, or the feeling that a move is imminent. Many people are being guided to offload things that they’re finished with to literally and figuratively lighten their load. You may be receiving guidance to get quiet and to go within to connect with the priorities that are prescient for you right now so you are clear about how to move forward. Some people are feeling guided to focus on physically moving their bodies more, being mindful of increasing gentle foods and beverages, and other ways to physically support their bodies. Maybe you’re being guided to get back to a practice that’s been restorative or supportive for you in the past that you set down for one reason or another. In any ways these messages are showing up for you there is a deep call to get into alignment with the timing and rhythm of your life to the best of your ability.

When we get into alignment with the timing of our life, things begin to move more smoothly and can feel like they are happening more easily. The big question I often hear is about how to get into that flow or that timing. This is a great question and no, you’re not alone if you’re feeling like you’re having a bit of a wobble finding that right timing. There’s a combination of setting yourself up for success with planning and getting things done and then allowing yourself to be open to the timing of your life. This can be an opportunity for growth if you have a tendency to want things to move more quickly or more slowly depending on the situation. Give yourself some grace with this because most people would like things to move at their own timeline and sometimes that happens and other times, we’re guided to move with the timing that’s unfolding for us. One of the ways that you can find that sweet spot and work with divine timing is to pull your energy inward and to get quiet. Spending a few minutes to pay attention to the guidance that you’re receiving can make a huge impact. For some people, they can feel that they should do something, it can feel like being compelled to take action on a project. For others, they may see what they need to do and how to move forward including asking for help or support. Some people hear specific messages about what the next steps to take are for them and their situation and others know when it’s time to do a particular thing, including but not limited to waiting for the right timing. Sometimes, people experience a combination of these things, for example knowing that they need to lighten their load and do some repairs to their home if they’re going to be moving. It’s about allowing yourself to go within and to take a little time to get quiet and to allow your messages and guidance to come through for you. If you aren’t sure you’re receiving your messages, you can always ask for confirmation and a clear sign in your physical world that you’ll easily notice and understand.

You don’t have to spend a lot of time doing this, you can invest seemingly small segments of time here and there and enjoy this aspect of future casting and working with the timing of your life. This is time of big change where things are moving very quickly and it may seem like some days feel like a week and other days, we aren’t sure if we’re coming or going. No, you aren’t imagining this at all; in fact, if you’re noticing this, it means you’re spot on and right on target. This is a time where things are speeding up and why taking a few minutes here and there each day to stop, breathe, tune in with yourself and your goals can support you in moving in the right direction and at the right timing. The more you can remember to take these little touch points throughout your day the more you’ll find that you get into that divine timing of your life more easily and effortlessly. Let yourself have fun while you do this, play, listen to music, dance, go for a walk, ride your bike or _____________. These little moments where you clear and tune in can be while you’re doing things you love to do. In fact, those are the things that can help you to gain clarity quickly. If you find that you’re feeling a bit off or disconnected, try to lean into something you love to do (even if only for a few minutes) and see if you shift into a space where you feel more like yourself again. I think you'll find this helps you in more ways than one.

I’m wishing you a month filled with fun, joy, and timing that’s in alignment with you and your life. I’d love to hear how you’re working with this energy and how you’re moving with the rhythm of your life.

If you’d like to work with me this month during a private session to take a look at what’s showing up for you around this theme of timing, change, and alignment I would love to support you. If you’d like to look at something completely different, I would love to support you during a session too.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you.
With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

April | Energy Upswell

Hello,
Happy April, I hope this finds you well as we welcome a new month and begin to enjoy this new season. It’s the first full month of the Spring season here in the Northern Hemisphere and little signs of Spring are beginning to pop up here and there every single day. Have you been noticing signs of this new season as you move through your day to day routine too? It’s almost as if these changes are happening at night while we’re sleeping and if we don’t get outside to see it, we may miss this magical process and unfurling that’s happening all around us. When we do get outside, it’s easy to see this new season waking up and reminding us that there’s an upswell of energy happening. That upswell of energy is happening within us too, in equal measure to the shifts and changes that we see happening around us within Mother Nature.

Can you feel some of those shifts in energy happening within you? It’s almost as if an internal alarm clock begins to chime, waking us up to this new surge of energy and encouraging us to get moving. You may actually notice that you physically have more energy than you had even a few weeks ago. You may notice that you’re feeling increased inspiration, experiencing more ideas, and want to begin taking action. You may also notice that your body wants to get moving too. If you’re finding these to be true for you then you’re hearing the call to action that’s happening right now.

With this renewed energy, momentum, and inspiration you can tune into and channel this “fresh start energy” to support you in moving forward in the ways that feel right for you. You may find that there are several areas or themes that are showing up for you and you’re being guided to let yourself enjoy this process and get going. There’s no one way or right way to do this, but rather the ways that are right for you. The big theme that’s showing up right now is about moving with this upswell of energy and allowing it to be a support system. It’s up to us to choose to move with the energy that’s occurring right now. Even taking one step in the direction of forward motion will automatically create momentum for you. This energy is filled with a feeling of being encouraged, uplifted, and almost cheered on and you can see this reflected in all of the new life outside, the bright colors from the flowers, the trees, and sunnier skies.

Sometimes this energy brings with it encouragement to move your body more, to drink more water, and to reevaluate the foods that you’ve been eating and opt for some lighter options in addition to your favorites. There’s also a message about increasing our self care and focusing on ways to increase our overall strength, within our bodies and also within our sense of self. You may find that you’re being guided to get back to a workout practice that you’ve stepped away from for whatever reason. You may also find that you’re being guided to spend some time in quiet respite to get clear about things that are working well for you and that honor you as well as some things that may have served their purpose and are ready to be cleared and released. You may find that you’re being guided to circle back to a project that you set down due to other things that may have needed your attention. Maybe you’re ready to start something new that you’ve been wanting to dig into and have been waiting for this exact moment to get started. No matter what it looks like for you, the energy is ripe with opportunity, encouragement, and an upswell to add support as you move into this forward momentum.

I would love to support you as you lean into this new energy happening right now. We can look at some of the personal themes that are showing up for you and ways to support you in getting into the flow of this momentum energy. We can look at something completely different too, whatever feels prescient for you right now; I’m here.

I’m looking forward to hearing about all the things that are blooming for you right now and how you’re enjoying this new Spring time energy. Please feel free to drop me a note and let me know how it’s going for you.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, straight to you!

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~

January: A Gentle Reset and Time For...

Hello and Happy New Year!
I hope this finds you well as we officially move into a new year and a brand new energy for 2025. I hope you and yours had a restful holiday season and that your new year is off to a good start.

One of the big themes that shows up for this time of year is a message about getting going and moving full speed ahead. I’m sure you’re already being inundated with these messages in emails, commercials, and other ad spaces. While a new year is a wonderful marker for a new beginning and a fresh start there’s also this additional energy happening right now that you’re probably experiencing too which is called holiday let down. (In the Northern Hemisphere we’re also experiencing the beginning of the Winter season as well which is all about rest and healing.) This combination of energies and themes can create a bit of a wobble in the way we feel. If you’re feeling a bit of this wobble or a mix of energies, you’re not alone. If you find yourself excited about the new energy for 2025 but your body wants to take it easy and you’re still decompressing from holiday stress, there’s no need to feel guilty or like something isn’t lining up for you. In fact, you’re right where you’re meant to be and you’re completely connected to the energies that are happening right now. It’s a bit of a mixed bag which is okay and actually it’s more than okay. You can capitalize on this mixed bag by leaning into how you’re feeling from day to day or even hour to hour to maximize your success right now. Yes, maximize your success.

January is a wonderful time for reflection and gaining insight into what you may want to focus on this year. It’s also a time where your body is letting you know what it needs too. Sometimes, we can get focused on one thing over another and then it can get things out of balance or lead to burn out. However, this is a time where all these systems are very prescient allowing you to have a clear understanding of how to prioritize your physical well being while also honoring the things you would like to experience, release, complete, create, grow, or continue to nurture during 2025. This experience can support you in gently moving into this new year while also finding your natural rhythm at the same time. As you move (to the best of your ability) at the rate that’s right for you, you’ll more naturally know or gain clarity about what you’re being guided to focus upon this year. There’s no need to push or to rush, as you already know what you’re being guided to do. Allowing yourself to move at your own pace, you’ll find that you’re ready to go again…when you’re ready to go again.
(I know, but it's true.) This is where the blessing of leaning into the way you’re feeling at any particular time can really support you in the present while also helping to plant seeds and even action steps that will yield results throughout the year. There’s no right way to do this, there’s only the ways that are right for you right now. You may feel guided to journal or make a list. Maybe you will want to look over the things you accomplished last year to help you gain confidence and clarity about this year. Maybe you will feel guided to do some meditation around these issues or reach out for some support. Maybe you’re going to tune into how you’re feeling and make choices based on what you’re experiencing right now. Maybe you will find that a combination of these tools will work for you…or something else completely. It’s not about what you do it’s about doing something that works for you.

Maybe you can think of this time as an opportunity for a gentle reintegration into your new year. A gentle reset and an opportunity to really connect with what you want and even need at this time. After a season of festivities and goings on, maybe one of the things that you need is quiet, gentle, respite. Cozy socks, warm mugs with tea, quiet mornings or evenings where you can spend a few moments just letting yourself be. January gives us this gift; it’s almost baked right in as a time for reflection and rest. Often, we pass it by for one reason or another. Maybe, this year you can allow yourself to receive this gift and its blessings even if it’s only for a few minutes here and there throughout your day. Remember that every little bit of self care adds up to big change over time. Taking a few moments here and there to honor yourself is a worthy investment and will make a positive impact on how you feel and will support you in many ways going forward. As you give yourself permission to be gentle with yourself this month, you’ll find that you’re ready to move forward in a way that’s right for you, at the time that’s right for you too.

I’m wishing you a gentle and supportive January and a beautiful new year. I look forward to working with you and supporting you throughout this new year. Thank you so much for being here, I’m so grateful to be able to connect with you. I know that you’re very busy and it means a lot to me that you take time out of your very busy schedule to connect with me and share your life with me.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, straight to you!
With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Curating Special Moments | Making Your Peace A Priority

Hi, I hope this finds you well as we officially welcome December.

I don’t know about you but I feel like time has been moving so quickly over the last several weeks and now here we are greeting the last month of the year. I hope that as you’re reading this, you’re able to take a little time out for yourself to relax, breathe, and take in the messages below that came through for you this month.

As each day grows colder and shorter here in the Northern Hemisphere we naturally feel guided to stay inside, to slow down, and to rest. However, this month tends to be so busy with lots of things to do, people to see, and places to go that it can sometimes feel a bit like a whirlwind. Many times people feel like they missed the holiday season because there were so many things that needed to get done and before they know it, it’s behind them. Maybe you’ve experienced this in the past and now try to make a concerted effort to slow down and take in the season in the ways that are meaningful for you. Sometimes people tell me that they secretly wish they could do _________ during the season but aren’t sure how make a change or do something differently. Shifts and changes are a natural part of life and if you’re being guided to shift something that you have done in the past and add something new or limit some activities this year, please know that you’re being divinely guided.

I’ve often found that highly sensitive people (like yourself) can experience a bit of an energy overload from lots of activities which can lead to feelings of exhaustion and a deep need to recharge your batteries. It can even lead to feelings of anxiousness about how to best prepare for all the get togethers so you feel your best while also keeping your systems in balance. If this resonates for you, you’re not alone. You may want to take a little breath here to help release any tension or tightness that may be showing up around this issue for you. Good. This is completely natural. The great thing is that one of the best ways you can enjoy this festive season while also taking good care of yourself is to be clear about what things or activities are a yes and which one’s aren’t. The great thing about using this technique is that there will be a clear yes and everything else is not a yes. Sometimes challenges come from the “well….maybe I can squeeze one more thing in even though I’m already scheduled pretty tight this week” style of scheduling. This kind of logical override or feeling obligated to make a no into a yes can lead to stress and pressure. When you ask yourself, “Is this a Yes?” You’ll feel, know, and hear it 100%. When something is not a yes, you will also know, it will be very clear for you. This allows you to bypass the “well maybe it can work” situations from the past. If you allow yourself to use this to support you in planning out your activities this season, you’ll find that you get to enjoy even more of the season and will find that your experiences can feel more meaningful and prescient for you.

Sometimes, some of the most magical moments are the ones that seem small, quiet, or simple. You get to decide what moments and memories are meaningful for you and yours. The truth is that the ways that you’re called to celebrate and honor the calling of your heart this season makes every Yes into a significant and special way to mark the season. Maybe you can take a little time today to ask yourself what aspects or activities are important to you so you can get clear on what your month will look and feel like. By taking a little time to find your Yes’s, you may find that you get to enjoy the season in a new way, one that resonates with you and your personal peace. Giving yourself permission to curate the season in the ways that are right for you and yours will be a gift that you and your loved ones will all get to enjoy.

I’m wishing you and yours a very Happy, Healthy, Holiday Season!

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you!
With deepest love and gratitude, thank you so much for being here with me~
Love,
Kristy~xoxo

P.S. I would love to hear some of your Yes’s if you feel guided to share them with me.
I’m looking forward to hot chocolate, warm jammies, cozy socks, movies, music, baking, and making some of my favorite holiday dishes this month. I hope to carve out some time for knitting and reading too.

Have You Heard the Call to Go Within?

Happy November, blank~

I hope this finds you well as we officially move into a new month and find ourselves fully experiencing the shifts and changes of the Autumn season here in the Northern Hemisphere.

I feel like so much has happened since we last connected; it seems like each day there is something big happening all over the world not to mention within our own individual lives and communities. I know that as a highly sensitive person it can feel even more intense to keep up with the all the headlines but at the same time feeling guided to help where you can which can create a bit of a push pull dichotomy. So many people that I talk to are experiencing a bit of helpers burn out, maybe you are experiencing this too. You may want to do more, help more, and contribute more but also feel like you need to listen to your body which is asking you to rest and restore. If so, you’re not alone. As sensitive souls this need to balance the strong desire and call to help others while also taking good care of yourself is always happening but you may notice that the call to slow down is getting more and more prescient.

This theme of pulling your energy within is coming through very clearly right now. This guidance to pull your resources back, to get quiet, and to allow yourself to reset is a powerful message that will support you in moving forward this month. I know that may seem like a contradiction in terms, but by going within (to the best of your ability) you’re able to gain clarity about what you’re being guided to focus on and how to move forward when you’re guided to do so. This may include some of the following, or may help you to realize the messages that you’re receiving; this is not a be all end all list.

  • Reducing excess noise so that you can more clearly hear the messages that are coming though for you.

  • Choosing specific times to check in on news stories and updates rather than scrolling throughout the day or listening to podcasts or news programming in the background throughout the day.

  • Supporting your body by increasing your immune system through drinking more water and eating more nutrient dense foods.

  • Reducing or removing foods and beverages that are making you feel tired, sick, or sluggish.

  • Getting outside into nature to move your body and also connect with the natural beauty, plants, and animals all around you.

  • Taking breaks from screen time and physically doing something you enjoy.

  • Creating a space that feels gentle and supportive for you so you can let down and allow your body, mind, and spirit decompress.

  • Listening to gentle music, meditations, or nature sounds to support your nervous system.

  • Using golden or amber colored lightbulbs to help soften the light in your home.

  • Using candles or faux candles to create the gentle flicker and warm lighting in your home.

  • Investing in time to genuinely rest and restore even if that means you aren’t multi-tasking while “resting.” (Investing in rest is worth it’s weight in gold, and yes, you’re worth it.)

  • Allowing yourself to sleep when you feel tired. (to the best of your ability) You may want to go to bed 15 to 20 minutes earlier so that you can get more sleep and better quality sleep.

  • Remove or reduce blue light in your sleeping spaces and avoid working or scrolling while in bed so you associate your sleeping space with sleep and rest.

  • Say yes to more flex time in your schedule even if it means saying no to something else.

  • Allow yourself to release the things, people, and situations which are no longer a fit for you even if they were a fit at one time.

  • Make time to do things that fill you up on a soul level even if only for 10 minutes each day. You can set a timer if it helps you and when the timer goes off you can choose to stop or continue if you feel guided.

  • Ask for and allow yourself to receive help and support when you need it.

By including a few of these in your day to day this month (or something specific to you that showed up as you were reading through this list) you will find that you’re better able to take good care of yourself. You may also find that you gain more clarity, insight, and genuine self care at the same time. You don’t have to spend a lot of time investing in these actions to receive the benefits that come with them. You’ll notice that you’ll feel ready to reach out to help those around you or even those who live far away from you when the time is right. As you pull your energy within, you’ll be able to hear, see, feel, and know the messages and guidance that are coming through for you more easily.

As we continue to move through these intense times, it’s even more important for you to take really good care of yourself so you’ll be ready to offer the support, kindness, and help where you’re divinely guided. I see you. I know that you’re spreading light and support wherever you go, whether to the cashier, a stranger who stops to tell you their whole life story in the produce aisle, a neighbor, delivery person, or someone online who’s struggling. I know that you’re always “on” whether you’re at work or at home because you have a kind word or insight for someone in your inner circle. Maybe you’re also working behind the scenes to help when someone or something is out of place and needs to be corrected. I know that you’re raising your hand for more assignments even when your hands are already full. This is a beautiful gift and helps make other people feel seen, validated, and safe; but please remember that you’re deserving of these same kinds of support. Breathe. Take a moment to let down and know that you’re not alone. It’s important to rest when you’re guided and it’s important to receive help when you’re guided too. You don't have to do everything all by yourself.

We’re about to move into a time of shorter days and longer nights beginning on the 3rd of this month here in the Northern Hemisphere which automatically supports us in slowing down and taking time for rest and relaxation. I hope that you will allow yourself to honor this deep and noble call to take good care of yourself this month. This is also a time when gathering and holiday celebrations begin to increase as well. I hope that you will allow yourself to enjoy the balance of going within and sharing in celebrations with loved ones as the month unfolds. I’m wishing you and yours a very healthy and happy November and Thanksgiving Holiday if you’re celebrating.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you.

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Cool, Calm, and Collected

Hello and welcome to October,

I hope this finds you well as we officially move into a new month and begin to settle into the Autumn season here in the Northern Hemisphere. For some reason, shifting into October, even the very first day feels like such a significant shift for me. Do you notice that shift happening for you today, too? It’s like a little click happens and all of a sudden there’s a palpable awareness that crisp, cooler, cozy weather will be showing up little by little every day this month. Maybe you’ve already started to make way for the new season by changing some things in your home, like pulling out throw blankets, adding soft accent pillows to your sofa or bed, or maybe you’ve already had your first cup of all things pumpkin spice. In any ways that you’re being guided to shift into this season, please give yourself permission to say yes.

While the natural rhythms of each season are always connected to us, there’s something special about moving from one season into the next; we can feel and see the changes happening all around us and it supports us in recognizing the changes happening within us as well. This is a wonderful time to check in with yourself about what changes you’re experiencing and what changes you would like to invest in throughout this new season. You may be experiencing a lot of momentum if you’re still plugging away at updating your systems which was such a powerful theme that was showing up in September. Maybe as you’ve been updating organizational systems, donation, and work flow systems, you’ve found more areas you’re inspired to update and streamline. It’s such a great feeling when you lighten your load and get things into alignment for where you are now so you can move forward with what works best for you and your needs. This energy of fresh starts, new beginnings, and change is a powerful time to continue the projects that you have on your list and to allow yourself to enjoy your spaces as well. As we begin to move into a season where we will be experiencing shorter days and longer nights, we often spend more time indoors and at home. The pull to create a space that feels supportive, comforting, and safe is a strong message that’s showing up right now. (Maybe you’re receiving this message too.)

In fact, this theme of almost hunkering down and creating a space (to the best of our ability) that feels cozy and nurturing has been so strong that it almost feels like it can’t be ignored. Like most things, there’s no one way or right way to do this. There are only the ways that feel right for you right now. Maybe the ways you used to honor this call isn’t the way you feel guided to do it this season. Maybe you’ll feel guided to increase your creature comforts by setting out some favorite candles, or essential oil blends that feel like fall to you. Maybe you’ll be guided to shift the lighting to more gentle or golden lighting so your space feels more calming and restful. Maybe you’ll be guided to get out some activities that you enjoy doing that you have tucked away in closets or boxes. These could include puzzles, art supplies, yarn, needles or hooks, journals, musical instruments, or maybe some physical books that you’ve been meaning to get around to reading. Anything that you enjoy that you haven’t been able to do for whatever reasons, this is a good time to get them down and into places that you can easily see and access. You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll allow yourself to enjoy your interests when they’re easily accessible to you. Maybe the way you mark the seasonal shift and move into the energy of cozy involves baking or cooking something special that you look forward to all year. Maybe you would like to try your hand at making something new or something that you’ve been wanting to try for a long time. All of these are wonderful ways to move into this energy of creating a space that makes you feel comforted and insulated. A place where you’d like to stay awhile and even put your feet up, maybe you have fuzzy socks on too.

When I was receiving this message about what themes are really palpable for this month, I was shown the importance of making this seasonal shift a priority. Not only because it supports us in moving into this new season and organically helps us to experience more balance but because it’s supporting us in creating a small space of peace. With so much happening all around us within our communities, on a national level, and as a global community there’s a lot of intensity, stress, and worry happening. It seems you can find news stories every day and nearly all day no matter what time zone we’re in that contribute to these feelings of stress and overwhelm. As we continue to move through this season, we’ll find this intensity to not only be with us but also to magnify. While this thought can feel unwelcome, on a deep core level I know that many people (especially highly sensitive souls like yourself) can see and feel this truth resonating for them too. It’s important to remember that allowing ourselves to feel our feelings is important and it’s equally important to cultivate a space that can support us in increasing calm, comfort, and care. We’re being guided to invest in this support system for ourselves and our loved ones so that we can carve out a space that feels like a sanctuary inside the storm. You don’t have to do all the things all at once. The process of moving into this new season while also enjoying it can happen a little bit at a time; that’s the magical part of the experience. The big message here is about allowing yourself to honor this calling in the ways that you feel resonate for you. The message is about not putting off this experience for another day when you have more time or when you feel “ready” but rather to make today the right day. Every action you make no matter how seemingly small will lead to a significant shift for you and your home. You are 100% worth the investment of these action steps and it will yield big dividends for you throughout the whole season. Focus on what’s right in front of you, and choose what you can do today to honor the call you’re receiving about this new season.

I hope that you’ll enjoy watching the colors of the changing leaves, the crisp cool morning air, the smell of autumn, and the change in the light all month long. I hope you’ll enjoy finding ways to honor your own personal blend of cool, calm, and collected throughout October. This is a magical month filled with so many shifts and changes and it’s also the unofficial kick off to the holiday season for many people. Lean into the season, lean into the shift, and give yourself permission to say yes to the comfort and calm that your soul wants right now.

As always, I’m sending you so much love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you.

If you feel guided to work with me this month, I would love to support you during a session.

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

September is for...Systems

Hello and welcome to September,

I hope this finds you well as we officially turn the corner on the last few weeks of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere and prepare to welcome a change in the seasons. Even if you live somewhere like me where it’s still in the triple digits, when we move into September and officially enter the “bers” a noticeable shift is upon us. Maybe you’re noticing subtle but significant shifts happening around you already. Shorter days, a tiny crisp bite to the air in the morning, and maybe even a slight change to the colors in the leaves. No matter how much we want to hang onto those long days of summer, the change of seasons is upon us which brings with it lots of other changes too.

Change is a good thing; it helps us to appreciate where we are right now while we prepare for the next phase or season that’s approaching. When I think about September it brings up so many images and memories about back to school, structure, streamlining, schedules, sleep (aka bed time), and systems. Maybe this month brings those things up for you too, even if you’re no longer a student and no longer have students left in the home. These themes are very prominent for all of us across the board no matter what our student status may be. These are universal themes that show up at this time of the year and we are given an opportunity to tune into these messages and take action accordingly.

You may be receiving these messages as well. Sometimes these messages show up as a strong feeling or an experience of being compelled to get things done and to get them going now. Other times you may see things that for whatever reason you finally “notice” need to be attended to and decide to make a priority. For some, it may be a seasonal task that is part of a regular routine and this shift in seasons is an organic time for you to make changes to your systems. No matter how these messages are showing up for you, please know that you’re connecting to the messages and information coming through right now beautifully.

We’re being guided to shift to a space that is more structured, and in many ways, more streamlined than the season we’re gently shifting away from over the next few weeks. This is a really special and dare I say, magical time because we get to experience the ebb and flow of one season finishing its final “show” and handing it off to the next one to follow. In this in between time we get to enjoy the remaining long days of summer while also preparing for autumn. Maybe you’ll feel guided to take stock of what is working well in your home and work life right now and find ways to highlight those aspects going forward. Maybe you’ll feel guided to clear out some things that are no longer needed and let them go. Maybe you’ll feel guided to organize, arrange, and completely change some systems that have served their purpose. Maybe you’ll be guided to increase a skill set you’ve been learning or begin learning something completely new. This fresh start energy is full of potential, excitement, new beginnings, and an opportunity for deep positive change. Perhaps, one of the calls for change that you’re being guided to embrace is the call to rest, restore, and replenish yourself. Maybe you’re being guided to prioritize sleep, boosting your immune system, and saying no to extra demands on your time, energy, and nervous system. Maybe quiet, calm, and peace are a priority for you and your overall wellbeing this season. There are many ways to embrace and honor this time of change and opportunity, and taking care of yourself is not only important but a deep call toward changing old systems that have run their course.

This is also a time when we can get some things done before the end of summer that will support us through the end of the year. Things like getting in that fall garden, especially if you have a late frost date. Adding some more chopped wood to the wood pile if you have a wood burning stove or fireplace. Preserving food in any ways that you enjoy whether that means filling jars, freezer bags, dehydrating, or all of the above so you can dip into them long after the summer is behind us. No matter what guidance you’re receiving about this shift and about September, please let yourself honor your messages to the best of your ability.

Taking 3 to 5 minutes to breathe, meditate, and focus can help you to gain clarity about what you’re being guided to focus on this month. You can also work with Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, and Archangel Gabriel to help you understand the messages coming through for you and to increase your motivation to take action. You can journal, work with your guides, or make a list that you can check off as you get things finished to help you increase your momentum. There’s no one way or right way to honor your messages, just the ways that are right for you.

If you’re unsure about what you’re being guided to focus on at this time, I would love to support you in gaining clarity and some actionable steps to support you in capitalizing on this wave of energy this month. If you’d like to focus on something else entirely, I would love to support you during a session as well.

I’m wishing you and yours a wonderful new month and a positive shift into this new season while enjoying the last days of the current season as well. I’d love to hear how you’re marking the end of summer and how you’re going to be honoring your Systems for September.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you!
With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Recalibrating and Realigning: Remaining Calm In the Storm

Hello and Happy May,
I hope this finds you well as we welcome a new month. Are you feeling the need to stop and remember to breathe as often as I am? The energy has been moving and shifting so much since we last connected and I wanted to share some messages of support with you as we move through these big shifts together. If you’ve been feeling like there’s been a combination of life experiences, life lessons, changes, unexpected shifts, energies, and increased sensitivity happening for you; you’re not alone. If you pair these experiences with the information we see on the news, it can be a lot for anyone to take in, especially for a highly sensitive soul like yourself. You may feel like you’ve been taking one step forward and one step back. I want to gently remind you to take a moment and breathe…scan your body for any tension or tightness that may be holding space within you and let it go. Just for this moment, let yourself breathe and release anything that’s holding space within you….good. It’s important to take these small moments throughout the day to breathe and reset. You don’t have to take a lot of time out of your day to do this, but it does help and it’s very important. Even taking one or two minutes a couple times a day can help to clear out stress, tension, and tightness from your body and mind.

Like you, I’m moving through these big shifts too. When I asked for some messages about this, the biggest theme that came through was about pulling our energy inward and focusing on the basics. As we move through our day to day life, our energy is spread out here and there as we do all the things on our lists. You may notice that as you move through your day, you feel your energy dwindle and you may even feel exhausted by late afternoon. Sometimes, this can lead highly sensitive people to feel like they aren’t trying hard enough to get things done or that they don’t measure up to their colleagues and tend to push themselves even harder. This overextending can increase these experiences of feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and tense. By shifting a few things, we can support ourselves in feeling better while also managing the changing energies and big life changes too. (without overextending)

One of the biggest themes that came through about the importance of getting back to basics was about taking good care of our body. You may be receiving this message right now too. This may show up in different ways for different people. Some people may feel guided to start or return to an exercise routine that they used to enjoy. Some people may feel like their body wants to eat and drink gentler foods and beverages. Some people may be guided to increase peace in their lives right now and feel guided to say no to certain invitations or demands on their time. Some people may be receiving guidance about starting or returning to a meditation practice. Some people may be receiving messages about many or all of these things as they are all very prescient right now. Maybe you’re receiving messages about something different but also something that honors your overall wellbeing.

Focusing on taking good care of ourselves so that we can maximize calm, comfort, and focus is the big take away right now. By taking care of the basics, we allow ourselves to move throughout our days in ways that better support and honor our wellbeing which allows us to take better care of the people and callings in our world as well. You can think of the example of being the calm inside the storm. As you honor the messages you’re personally receiving about how to take good care of yourself, you’ll be able to anchor more calm, clarity, and comfort within you and around you. It’s similar to increasing strength or building muscle memory. In the beginning it’s a conscious choice but after a while you’ll find that you’re integrating these positive changes and that the people around you are benefiting from your calm and your focus too.

Sometimes people get nervous about shifting their priorities to taking good care of themselves first as it may not feel natural to them and it may make other people in their lives uncomfortable. This is a real issue and it may feel like an adjustment at first, but taking care of yourself allows you to increase your strength, focus, and ability to do the things that you enjoy without depleting yourself in the process. You may also find that you inspire the people around you to make some changes and to focus on how they can take better care of themselves as well. If there are people who try to discourage you from taking care of yourself, you may want to take a little break from spending time with them if possible. If these people live with you, you may want to reach out for some extra support to help you move through this situation so you can increase healthy boundaries and communication.

Even seemingly small steps lead to big changes when we focus on taking care of ourselves. Investing time in taking care of yourself right now will continue to yield positive results for you going forward. Some of the additional benefits you’ll receive from this process includes but isn’t limited to: increased self confidence, increased self love, and increased self awareness. You may also find that you’re more grounded and focused throughout your day and can more easily move with the changes that are happening. You may also find that you strengthen your ability to hear, see, feel, and know the messages that are showing up for you. Overall, a win-win. No matter where you are right now, you can start by remembering to breathe. Taking a moment to breathe and reset is always beneficial and you can do this practice anywhere and at any time. With the changing world we’re living in right now, focusing on the basics is a powerful way to navigate our lives in a healthy way while also being prepared for the changes that are happening all around us.

I would love to support you during a session if you feel guided to work with me.
I’m wishing you and yours a very happy new month and a very Happy Mother’s Day if you’re celebrating this year.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you!
With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Grace | Gratitude | Grit

Happy November!

I hope this finds you well as we begin a new month and officially move into the last couple of months of 2023. This year has been a bumpy one for so many people and as we prepare to start this new month, I wanted to share the messages and themes that I’ve received for November. You may be receiving these messages too because as a highly sensitive soul, you’re aware of the subtle energies and shifts happening around and within you.

In the states, we celebrate Thanksgiving in November and there’s a large focus on the theme of gratitude at this time of year. You don’t need to live in the states to embrace or focus on gratitude in your life, this month or any month. However, this practice can help to shift our focus to a place of reflection on what it is that we’re grateful for and research shows that this practice can reduce stress and increase happiness. These are only a couple of aspects or outcomes that people report when participating in active gratitude activities. I often find that it also increases love and opens the heart chakra for clients. I’ve often found that it can help to clear and open up stagnant or slow energy as well and help to get energy, inspiration, and even creativity moving for people. There are lots of ways to participate in a gratitude practice and there are videos, blog posts, and entire books devoted to the topic. However, what I know for sure is that there are no right ways to do this; there are the ways that work best for you,  your schedule, and personal style. If you feel guided to participate in a gratitude activity throughout the month of November, this is a wonderful day or week to start. You may want to document how you’re feeling on day 1 of your process including stress levels, health, and overall well being so you can reflect back on that at the end of the month to see all the takeaways that you personally receive from the process.

You may be thinking that gratitude seems like a very prescient theme for this time of year and may wonder how it stands out as a specific message for the month. The big themes that have shown up for this month include a deep focus on taking care of the nervous system, immune system, and our inner personal strength or constitution. When we look at these themes, one of the biggest aspects that ties all of them together is stress or stressors. I know, not a very flowery or fun topic. However, this has been the strongest theme for us as we move into this month.

The nervous system is the first line of defense for us as we go about our daily lives and when we are overly stressed we can experience an overwhelm or even an overload on our system. This can create a lot of different experiences for people including but not limited to exhaustion, fatigue, lethargy, and feeling as if you have limited bandwidth for stress. This experience can have an impact on your immune system as well and can lead to feeling off or unwell or even experiencing a lot of the cycles of sniffles and yuck. Both of these can impact your personal strength or constitution by making you feel like you don’t have enough get up and go to get things done. This can lead to feelings of self doubt, worry, or even passing on positive experiences or opportunities.

The good news here is that each of these aspects work together, hand in hand as a team. As we pour into and take care of one of these aspects, we automatically help to support the other aspects at the same time. As we invest in these areas this month, even in seemingly small ways, we’re more easily able to move through the energy, news, and day to day experiences that are happening within and around us. When we look at the overall message, we can see that it’s about taking good care of ourselves.

Another word for Grace is Kindness.
Another word for Gratitude is Appreciation.
Another word for Grit is Determination

  • When you see and feel the impact of these words, and think about how to apply them to yourself, what kinds of images, thoughts, or feelings show up for you?

  • When you think about ways that you could support and honor your own systems and personal well being, what things show up for you right away? Why?

  • Which of these three words do you feel you’re being guided to focus on the most right now? Grace, Gratitude, or Grit? Why?

  • Which of the three words feels the most challenging for you to honor or pour into for yourself?

  • How can you find ways to increase this aspect in your life even in seemingly small ways?

Hopefully by answering these questions, you’ll be able to better understand the areas or themes that are especially prescient for you right now. Like most things, you may find that you share common interests with people in your circle about how to honor these aspects of your life. However, you may have a different style than some of the people in your circle too. This is about finding the ways that work for you because these will be things that resonate with you and your lifestyle and allow you to continue to practice them in your daily life.
I’ve included some items below that can help to support these themes of Grace, Gratitude, and Grit while we work to honor our systems this month. Please remember this is not a be all end all list in any way. This is just a small list to help inspire you to create a practice or system that is right for you.

Grace | Kindness

  • Using positive words to describe yourself to others and to yourself

  • Making space for rest and relaxation even if for only 15-20 minutes each day

  • Treating yourself the way you treat others

  • Watching a favorite movie or show that you love, just because.

  • Reading for pleasure

  • Listening to or playing music

  • Enjoying a creative project

  • Taking a nap or going to sleep early if you feel tired

  • Using the fancy dishes, table linens, or candles that you always save for someone special. (You’re someone special)

  • Make a meal or a special dessert that you really love just for the fun of it.

  • Ask for help when you need it and allow someone to help you when it’s offered.

  • Drink more water

  • Eat nutrient dense foods

  • Add broths, ferments, and other nourishing foods to your meal plan

  • Take vitamins and minerals

  • Learn a new skill or hobby that you’ve been wanting to try

  • Laugh out loud, for real, watch or listen to things that make you laugh

  • Play and have fun

Gratitude | Appreciation

  • Participate in a gratitude practice (in any way that resonates for you)

  • Get outside into nature to see and take in the beauty and changes that are happening all around you.

  • Walk or participate in gentle movement or exercise. Taking care of the body is a deep appreciation practice.

  • Practice something that you love and is intrinsically part
    of who you are

  • Tell someone in your life what they mean to you

  • Read through old letters or look through old pictures of people and places that have deeply impacted your life.

  • Ask someone you trust (or as many people as you feel guided to include) to share 3 aspects about you or 3 words to describe you to help you better understand and appreciate your impact on the people in your world.

  • Focus on increasing the aspects of your life that bring you joy, happiness, glee, and overall peace. (Only you know what these are and any increase in them in any amount counts as an increase.)

Grit | Determination

  • Focusing on one step at a time

  • Having a clear focus on what you’re working toward and continuing to make concerted effort toward that goal.

  • Reaching out for support from people in the area of your focus

  • Saying no to demands on your time and energy if it’s draining you or creating extra strain and stress.

  • Saying yes to positive opportunities and experiences.

  • Celebrating small and big wins

  • Saying yes to support and love from people in your inner circle and even from your outer circle

  • Knowing when to take a break and when to begin again.

  • Resting when you’re guided so you have the energy to cultivate momentum again when you’re ready.

  • Taking inventory of how far you’ve come as a reminder that everything you’ve been through in the past is proof that you’ve gotten to where you are today from determination and taking things one step at a time.

I hope this will inspire and support you as we move through this month, together. Remember, it’s not about how many things you’re doing, it’s about finding the ways that are right for you to honor and support you through this process. It may be 2 or 3 things that you know you’re being guided to do that make you feel great and add value and joy to your life right now. As you pour into any of these aspects, you will automatically support the other aspects as well, cultivating a positive experience for yourself and supporting you as you move through these themes, this month.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you!

If you’re celebrating Thanksgiving this month, I’m wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving.

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Comfort, Care, and Contentment

I hope this finds you well as we begin a brand new month and wind down the last few weeks of summer together, here in the Northern Hemisphere. It feels like last month was especially long, I’m not sure why but it feels like it has been a long time since we connected. I hope that your summer has been good to you and that you’ve enjoyed the long, warm, and slow days of the season. Every time we arrive at September, even though there are still a few weeks before we change seasons, there is a palpable shift that happens. Are you feeling it today, too? There’s almost a feeling of urgency or a sense that it’s time to get things prepared and ready for the change that’s coming. Maybe some of this is connected to the back to school energy happening, maybe some of it is connected to harvests being brought in, and maybe it’s because we can see and feel these small but significant shifts happening letting us know that Autumn is coming. There are some strong themes that we can benefit from at this time which can allow us to harness this energy to get things moving forward in our own lives. I’ve included a few for you below and hope they will offer you support, encouragement, and inspiration for your new month.

You may notice that you feel guided (or almost compelled) to organize, to take an inventory, and to streamline systems and spaces in your home or office. You may have noticed that you’ve been meaning to get around to this but it just didn’t happen during the summer but now all of a sudden you feel ready and want to dig into this project. This is a big part of this theme happening right now. If this is showing up for you, this is a powerful time to lean into that guidance you’re receiving. Because of back to school, you’ll find that there are lots of organizational supplies, systems, and items you may need readily available to you in most big box style stores and often at a reduced price point.

Lightening your load often goes hand in hand with organizing; maybe you feel good about the systems you have in place right now but feel the energy in your home is heavy or weighed down. Sometimes an easy and effective way to lighten the feeling in your home can be to go through closets or storage spaces to see if there are things that can be donated, recycled, or, released. Sometimes, things that we’re no longer using can take up a lot of physical and energetic space in our homes and releasing them can lighten the energy in your space exponentially. You may even notice that your space feels larger, has more breathing room, and physically feels lighter to you and the people living there. Often times, clearing out things that are no longer needed can increase calm, peace, and restfulness in the space as well.

Focusing on comfort and care is also a strong theme that’s showing up right now. You may find yourself thinking about creature comforts that you enjoy during the Autumn season. You may be thinking about the food you want to cook, or cozy clothes you’re looking forward to wearing, the crisp cool air outside, pulling out your favorite blanket, or watching your favorite fall themed movies or shows. (Hello, Gilmore Girls and Harry Potter.) This process of thinking about the things that feel like the new season to you, help you to move into that new season. This process also allows you to start creating a space that feels comforting and nurturing for you. As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, we often spend more time inside. Making your home a place that rises up to greet you while also helping you to feel safe and supported is one of the biggest themes showing up right now. Give yourself permission to have fun with this process. You don’t have to spend a lot of money doing this, in fact you don’t have to spend any money. As you’re going through your storage spaces, I think you’ll find treasures that you want to get out and enjoy for this new season.  If you think about it, organization and lightening your load are also ways to support comfort and care. I think this is one of the most magical aspects of this time of year. It seems like all of the themes coming through, while each with its own unique aspect and gifts are all working together to support us in moving into a season of comfort, care, and contentment.

While these themes are definitely prescient at this time, they seem especially timely for all of us as we see headlines and reports coming in over the last week or so about new regulations and restrictions similar to that of 2020. As a highly sensitive person, I want to encourage you to think about adding some things to your comfort or care systems that offer you ways to decompress from stress, tension, or feelings of overwhelm. You may already have these things in your home. As you’re working on organizing and shifting things around, you may feel guided to have some things you enjoy in arms reach of places you enjoy sitting so you can easily access them when you feel guided. There’s no one way or right way to do this, just the ways that feel right for you and your home. I’ve included a few things below that may be a fit for you, please use this as inspiration for your own list of comfort or care systems.

  • Coloring Books, Crayons, or Markers

  • Physical Books

  • Paint by Number Set

  • Yarn for Knitting, Crochet, or Macrame

  • Music, Playlists, or Musical Instruments

  • Sketchbook

  • Essential Oils

  • House Plants

  • Games

  • Puzzles

  • Journal

  • Exercise Equipment (Includes Yoga mat, weights, hiking boots, etc)

  • Epsom Salt for Salt Baths

  • Cozy Blanket

  • Soft Gentle Clothing

  • Someone to call if you need extra support

I’m wishing you a wonderful new month and a gentle transition from summer into autumn. I hope that you will enjoy riding these waves that are coming through right now to support us as we collectively organize, lighten our load, and focus on comfort and care.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, straight to you!

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Circling Back

Happy August! I hope this finds you well as move into the final full month of Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. Does it feel like this season has been moving really quickly? It does to me; it feels like before we know it the season is going to be shifting and the summer will be behind us. I hope that your summer has been good to you so far and that you’re enjoying these long sunny days.

In addition to the feeling of the summer moving right along I’ve also noticed a strong theme showing up for me and for other people that I’ve been talking to, maybe you’re noticing it too. The theme of things circling back. Are you finding this theme showing up in your life right now, too? This theme is showing up in all different shapes and sizes. For some people, it may be things that they’ve expected, tasks, projects, or issues that have been shelved for whatever reasons. For others it may be things they haven’t thought about in a long time showing back up for an opportunity for a refresh or a reframe. This theme is also showing up in ways that can feel like a nudge that we may be trying to put off for another day or even telling ourselves that a particular area of our lives is behind us for whatever reasons. This circling back theme is showing up in all different forms and all different levels of intensity. Some of the ways it’s making itself known can feel really fun, exciting, and even very nostalgic while others can show up as opportunities for personal growth, healing, and letting go of things that are finished. Some of these themes contain all of these feelings, experiences, and opportunities all at once. No matter how this theme is showing up for you right now, allowing yourself to notice, honor, and to the best of your ability lean into it can be very supportive for you.

When themes show up in our lives, we’re being given an opportunity to focus our energy on that experience and allow it to support us as we move through the theme for as long as it’s with us. Sometimes this theme is an opportunity for us to get back to a part of ourselves that we’ve been separated from for whatever reason. It can help us to heal and to reconnect to an aspect of ourselves and our lives that we want to nurture and fold back into the fabric of our daily lives. Sometimes the theme helps us to achieve or move through a personal challenge or goal that we’ve been guided to pursue. Sometimes, we’re given an opportunity to fix, finish, or finalize some things we’ve been putting off which allows us to feel a sense of accomplishment, relief, and to enjoy the experience of finishing what was started. While other times the theme helps us to cement into our being that releasing and closing a chapter or making space for healthier and more peaceful people, places, and situations is the right choice.

Sometimes when themes show up, we know how to honor them, we feel called, compelled, or committed to taking action in concert with them. We use the nudge or repeating signs that we’re receiving to help us move through the experience. Other times we may feel confused or unsure why we’re receiving this opportunity to redo or rework through something we thought we were finished with for whatever reason. In this case, you can reach out for support from a trusted support person, or you can journal about it to try to get a better understanding of the situation. If you’re in a place where you aren’t sure if you’re understanding the theme that you’re experiencing, you’re not alone. In this situation, you can ask for clear signs that will help you to know which theme is showing up for you right now. There’s no “right way” to ask for this support, you can say it out loud, you can think it, you can write it in your journal, whatever feels right for you, is the “right” way. Then, you’ll start to notice signs in your life about your theme. You may start to see physical signs out in the world about your theme, you may overhear conversations that apply to your theme, you may find books or perhaps a dear friend will send you a book that supports your theme. Songs on the radio, movies, magazine articles, it will feel like all things are pointing to the same themes, and the theme is about helping you to know what you’re being called to circle back to in your life.

When you realize what your theme or themes are, you can begin to move through them in the ways that feel like a fit for you. Sometimes, we can move through these opportunities for growth by ourselves but most of the time, we need support from other people. Giving yourself permission to ask for help when you’re guided will help you move through these themes more gently. Telling people that you know and trust that you’re working on something that’s important to you and letting them know how they can support you can be very powerful for both of you. Sometimes, you may need someone to listen to what you’re experiencing. Maybe you’ll need help physically moving something or another set of eyes looking at what you’re working on to offer you suggestions, insight, or support. Sometimes, you may want to talk to a professional in the area of your theme. Any ways that you feel guided to reach out for support will be helpful for you as you move through your personal circling back experience.

When we take some time to honor, accept, and work through our themes to the best of our ability, we’re able to make space in our lives for healing, joy, and opportunities we may not have realized were available to us. We add more light into our lives by doing this work while lightening our load at the same time. I look forward to supporting you in any way that I can as you work through this time. You’re not alone, we’re all working through this circling back process together.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you!

With love and gratitude,

Kristy~xoxo

Cool, Calm, and Collected

Hello, I hope this finds you well as we move into May.

One of the biggest themes that has been coming through lately has been about finding ways to reduce stress and increase calm and gentility. Have you been noticing this theme showing up in your day to day life too? If so, you’re not alone; you’re not imagining it, and it’s not just you. This is a theme that I’m finding across the board for people, even people who traditionally have been able to consistently manage their stress levels. Stress has in many ways become a buzz word in our modern culture and can sometimes be used as a catch all for many life scenarios that we may be experiencing. However, that being said, I am finding this increase in stress to be a prescient theme right now and wanted to share some ways that you can reduce your stress as we move through this theme together.

As a highly sensitive person, sometimes an increase in stress, tension, or feelings of overwhelm can feel magnified. When you use techniques to support an increase of calm and comfort as a highly sensitive person, you can experience those results more quickly and on a deep or palpable level. As you integrate practices that you enjoy on a consistent basis, you’ll find that you’re more easily able to move through times of increased stress while also maintaining a level of peace, happiness, and calm. You’ll also notice that you feel more like yourself and that you’re able to find and maintain your balance. Does that mean that you won’t have some days that are tough? No, however it will allow you to move through those bumpy days a little bit easier while also increasing your good days.

One of the biggest things to remember here is that there is no one way or right way to do this work. There are only the ways that are right for you and those may change from day to day. Choosing to try a few things that you feel attracted to naturally will be a great place to start so you can find the ways or methods that work best for you. Finding what works best for you is the “right way” for you. Again, you can choose to change things up at any time you choose based on your needs and situation.

Please know this is not a be all end all list, think of this as inspiration and please add to this list with activities that work well for you. If there’s things on this list that are a fit for you great, give them a try and see how you feel. If there are things that aren’t a fit, great, let those go. Please feel free to combine techniques and make them your own. This is meant to be a support system for you so you get to decide how to work with the suggestions below so they best honor you and your life.

  • Sleep
Quality sleep is important for our overall health and well being. Making time for sleep is imperative especially when you’re experiencing increased stress. If you’re having sleep disturbances, check to make sure you aren’t being exposed to blue light before and during your sleep. Even if you enjoy falling asleep with your device on, it will prevent you from experiencing REM sleep and can interfere with serotonin and melatonin which we need. If you aren’t getting enough sleep at night, you may be guided to nap during the day, and even 30 minutes can make a positive impact. Going to sleep earlier, creating a relaxing space for sleep, and removing technology from your sleeping space can support you in experiencing quality sleep.

  • Movement
Any movement that you enjoy will allow your body to decompress from the stress that may be holding space within you. Going for a walk, riding your bike, going for a swim or any kind of movement you enjoy will help you reduce and manage your stress levels. Movement also helps your body get into a moving meditation which allows you to receive secondary benefits at the same time.

  • Sunshine
Getting outside into the sunshine even if you have to bundle up is very important. In addition to vitamin D, full spectrum sunlight helps to produce and regulate melatonin and serotonin which we need. Sunshine also helps us to increase energy, just think about the solar panels supporting the grid. We benefit from solar power too. You don’t need to overexpose yourself to the sun to receive its benefits.

  • Gentle Foods and Beverages
As the weather begins to warm up you may notice your body naturally gravitating toward lighter foods like salads, soups, smoothies, and juices just to name a few. When we’re experiencing stress, it can be easy to reach for things that can actually make us feel worse like processed foods and snacks. The more you can fuel your body with gentle foods and beverages, the easier it will be for your body to maintain a strong immune system which is taxed when exposed to prolonged stress.

  • Hydration
You may notice that stress impacts your hydration. If you notice you’re feeling parched, you may want to increase your water intake to help your body stay hydrated. There is no need to increase your hydration to the point of rinsing out your electrolytes. Just pay attention to your body so you find the right amount of water for you each day. If your lips are chapped, your scalp, sinuses, and skin are dry, and/or you feel thirsty, increase your water.

  • Music
Listening to music can uplift and shift your mood and energy quickly. Listening to music in the background rather than tv or streaming services can help you to feel better while also uplifting the energy in your home while positively impacting the people in your home too. If you are a musician, playing and practicing your instrument/s will support you and your home in multiple ways.

  • Creativity
Participating in any creative outlet that you enjoy will help you to reduce your stress levels while also nurturing your love and enjoyment for the activity. Creativity also sparks inspiration and moves you into a moving meditation which are powerful secondary benefits. You will also have something to show for your time and you will notice that you feel more relaxed and at ease during and after your creative experience. You don’t have to spend a lot of time investing in creativity to receive the benefits. You may want take a little time to place your tools, projects, or accoutrements into an easily accessible place.

  • Meditation
Any kind of meditation will support you in reducing stress and increasing calm, clarity, focus, and gentility. Whether you prefer guided meditation, traditional styles of meditation and mindfulness, or moving meditation, you will receive benefits from that practice. If you aren’t sure where to start when it comes to mediation and mindfulness, I recommend guided meditation. You can find free guided meditations on YouTube or you can use things like the calm app. There are a lot of free resources out there for you and you’ll find the right method once you get started.

  • Reading Physical Books
Physical books will give you a break from screen time and allow you to slow down while also experiencing the tactile quality that comes with reading an actual book. You will also notice your nervous system begin to relax while you enjoy your book.

  • Increasing Quiet Time
Allowing yourself to be in a quiet state allows your body and mind to rest while simultaneously calming your nervous system. It can also allow issues or themes sitting under the surface to come up so they can clear. In a world of overstimulation this simple act of quiet time is powerful.

  • Cleaning Out Clutter/Cleaning Your Home
Whether it’s cleaning out your closet, cleaning your floors, or getting to that shred pile; you will feel a lightening of your physical and mental state by attending to your physical space. Stuff out of place has an impact on our environment and our health. If you need help with this, please consider reaching out for help. If you live with other people, ask for their help so you aren’t trying to do everything all by yourself. A peaceful home supports a peaceful life.

  • Avoiding Challenging or Upsetting News Stories
It’s important to be informed and aware of what’s happening, however being inundated with bad news and negativity isn’t helpful or necessary. Reducing your exposure to upsetting news stories and social media feeds that make you feel drained or upset is important. Set aside a predetermined amount of time for information and then turn it off and move onto something else.

  • Avoiding or Reducing Challenging or Upsetting People/Dynamics
To the best of your ability, saying no to people and dynamics which are upsetting, hurtful, and draining for you is important. It’s important to guard your time and energy from those who aren’t helpful or supportive for you. It’s okay and often necessary to say no to people and situations that make you feel worse after engaging. Saying no to the best of your ability allows you to say yes to taking good care of yourself and your quality of life.

As you read through this list, you’ll notice that some of the categories can be grouped together for win wins; and in some cases: win, win, win. Yes, those groupings are a great way in increase your calm, comfort, and gentility all at once and yes, they count. For example, if you feel guided to read a physical book, you’ll be simultaneously reducing screen time, and increasing quiet time too. Please give yourself permission to enjoy the combinations that speak to you and make them your own. You don’t have to spend a lot of time doing these things, a little bit goes a long way in supporting your overall stress levels and well being. Carving out 10 minutes a day will have a significant impact on your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being. Some days you may be able to do more than 10 minutes which is wonderful but start with 10 and notice how you feel. Some of the activities like clearing out clutter or cleaning may take more than 10 minutes but their impact on you and the people who live in your home will be significant and well worth your time and effort.

I hope this will inspire you to know that you’re not alone and you can make simple but significant shifts in your daily life to support you in feeling more peaceful, grounded, and like your true self. I know you can do it, and every step counts. I’m joining you in this process as we move through these intense times together.

If you feel guided to work with me, I’m here for you.
As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, right to you.

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Cultivating a Soul Salve

Happy April,

I hope this finds you well as we begin a new month and lean into a new season.
I was trying to find a theme to focus on for this newsletter by tuning into the messages I’ve been receiving, the energies that have been showing up lately, and the recurring issues that seems to be really prescient for people right now and nearly everything was pointing to a deep focus on ways to honor, soothe, and comfort the highly sensitive soul (like yourself). So, grab a cup of tea or something soothing and let’s look at ways that you can cultivate a Soul Salve for yourself this month which you can use at any time when you feel like you could benefit from some extra support.

When things get stressful, overwhelming, or intense; whether these things are coming from within your own personal life or on a larger scale outside of your personal life it can have an impact on the nervous system which can create some additional stress responses. As a highly sensitive person, this natural experience can be felt on what seems like a magnified level. While there are so many wonderful things that come with being highly sensitive, the deep feelings and empathy can make stressful situations well, feel more stressful. (I know that you know this all too well as a fellow HSP.) The good news is that there are things that we can do to honor our sensitivity while also helping to soothe and support ourselves even if we’re experiencing big shifts and intense energies.

The great news is that there’s no right way or one way to do this, there are just the ways that are right for you on any given day. This means you can change, shift, and update your support system at any time which removes any pressure to choose something that you’ll use forever. So, take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth…good, letting go of any stress that you may feel holding space in your chest or stomach, good…remembering, this is something that is personal to you and meant to be a support system, and it can also be fun.

I’ve included a little exercise for you below which can help you to pin point a few things that may want to be added to your personal support system right now. You may want to get some paper and something to write with to jot down the things that come through for you. There’s no wrong answers and I promise you that you will receive messages and answers to the questions below. Just relax and breathe and have fun.

Imagine a space that’s just for you, it can be anything that you want it to be.
Maybe it’s a room that’s just yours, an office, a music space, a sunroom, a garden, an open air building at the sea, or something else completely, but it’s just yours. A space all for you.

Inside, fill it with the things that make you feel uplifted, calm, relaxed, soothed, and like you.
The you that feels peaceful, healthy, focused, happy, and __________________.

  • What does your space look like?

  • What does your space feel like?

  • What sounds do you hear in your space?

  • How does your space make you feel?

  • What items do you have in this space?

  • Why does this space feel calming and supportive for you?

  • Is there anything else you would like to add to this space?

  • How can you integrate these things into your daily life now?

  • What one thing can you do right now which will offer you some additional comfort in your daily life, now?

  • Is there anything else that you feel guided to do to support your overall sensitivity at this time?

Taking a few minutes to go through this exercise can help give you some insight into some things that your soul is personally wanting or needing at this time. You can use it as many times as you feel guided. Remember, seemingly small shifts lead to significant results. There’s no need to do all the things all at once, focusing on one or two things that resonate with you can cultivate a deep support system for you.

Some other things that have been coming up for many people lately and they may resonate with you too include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Needing to drink more water

  • Eating gentler foods, feeling guided to eat lighter and or healthier foods

  • Desire to move the body through gentle exercise

  • Participating in a gentle cleanse or fast (gentle being the key word here) This can include reducing refined sugars and alcohol.

  • Increasing full spectrum sunlight

  • Increasing vitamins and minerals

  • Reducing screen time and increasing listening to music or audio books

  • Beginning or revisiting breathwork whether it’s square breathing, yoga, deep breathing, or any kind of conscious breathing to help soothe and calm the nervous system.

  • Revisiting creative outlets to reduce stress and increase calm, this can also include coloring, gardening, and reading books for pleasure.

  • Removing clutter or items that are ready to be donated or recycled.

  • Increasing salt baths, hot tub time, or swimming

  • Focusing on your personal energy and cycles and honoring them to the best of your ability.

  • Rest and Sleep: if your body needs more of these things right now, please try to honor them to the best of your ability.

  • Journaling to help release and reset

  • Deep focus of making your inner circle and your home a place that’s calm, peaceful, and gentle.

I hope this very prescient theme about taking good care of ourselves is something that resonates with you right now. I know that it really resonates with me. As a deeply sensitive soul, sometimes it can be easy to focus on ways to help, support, and soothe others because it’s so natural for you. Sometimes, during this process, it can be easy to forget to do the same kindness for yourself. Please let this be a gentle and loving reminder that you are worthy of support and care too. I see you. I see you taking care of all the people you love in your world. It’s important to give yourself some grace, love, and care too. This month, please give yourself permission to cultivate your own soul salve in the ways that speak to you.

I’m sending you so much love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world right to you!

With all my love and gratitude,

Kristy~xoxo

I’ve included a special for you below that will last through Monday the 4th ending at 5pm pacific time. You can schedule your session for any day you choose. (one per person, please.)

Food for Your Soul

lavender english.jpg

The last couple of weeks a strong message and theme has been showing up for me and I was wondering if you’ve been receiving it too. It’s a message about needing deep genuine true rest, comfort, and care. Not in the sense that I should take a few extra minutes to get up from my desk and stretch between appointments or to make sure that I’m getting outside (when the smoke isn’t too thick), or turning off my screens an hour before I want to sleep at night. The message was about a deep true rest, one that I need to invest in so that I can off load a deep layer of heaviness that is ready to clear. Heaviness from grief over news stories, built up stress, and the day to day intensity of being a highly sensitive person in a not so sensitive world.

Are you receiving this message too?

As a highly sensitive person, (like yourself) it’s imperative that we find ways to take good care of ourselves so that there isn’t a bottoming out of our energy, strength, and sense of joy and life satisfaction. Even if you’ve been doing your daily practice, you may have noticed that there’s something else happening and that you’re in need of something more than your usual recipe of hsp self care.

Please know that if you’re feeling this too, you’re not alone.

Just like you, I have a full schedule of responsibilities and things that need to get done so creating space for a deep rest was an opportunity to stretch my scheduling muscles. Like most things, there’s no one way to honor the divine downloads that you receive. It’s not so much about how you do something, but that you find the ways that are a fit for you and your needs; even if it looks different from someone else.

For me I needed to physically rest my body while also doing something to feed my soul.

I tried to do some things that I really enjoy, so I tried working on an easy knitting project…that didn’t work. I tried to make some fun diy’s that were running low around the house…that didn’t work. I tried to putter around in my garden…that didn’t work.

So, I decided to actually allow myself to lie down and rest and the thing that I did to feed my soul was watch some people I love on youtube cook, bake, and create things. It was really relaxing, soothing, and on a deep level very healing for me. It felt comforting to watch people prepare meals, bake beautiful cakes, preserving food while canning, and making dresses, window boxes, and all kinds of things. This may not seem like a worthwhile investment of my time, but it was exactly what I needed. I could feel that heavy layer that was ready to clear lifting off of me while I truly allowed myself to rest and reset.

No multi tasking, just rest.
No list making, just rest.
No planning, just rest.

Our body and soul knows what we need, but a lot of times we try to work around this wisdom for a variety of reasons. If we can make space, even a small segment of space to honor the messages we’re receiving, we can shift more easily. Maybe the message you’re receiving about rest and feeding your soul will look completely different from my message; the only thing that matters is that you listen to the messages that you’re receiving so you can take good care of yourself right now.

Maybe you’re being guided to:

  • Increase more laughter, so watching something that makes you literally laugh out loud will be on the menu for you.

  • Increase music in your home whether you play it yourself, or by listening to music, or having it on in the background instead of television.

  • Change the foods or beverages you’re eating to something gentler to give your body a rest so it can more easily digest and help increase your energy.

  • Let go of something that has run its course allowing your life to become a little more gentle, calm, and comforting.

  • Read for pleasure, even if that means reading a book you’ve read before, just for fun.

  • Or ________________________________.

You know what kind or rest and care you’re needing right now, please give yourself permission to honor your wisdom.

If you find yourself wondering, “Is this it?”

Take a deep breath, in through your nose, and out through your mouth and then ask yourself,

“What kind of rest and soul support do I need right now?”

Then pay attention to any feelings, ideas or memories, words or sounds, images, tastes and smells you receive. These are messages for you about your personal recipe of soul soothing support right now.

Honoring the messages that you receive even in seemingly small segments of time is a worthwhile investment and it will yield huge dividends for you.
No matter what your personal recipe of support looks like right now, know that it’s the exact right one for you. Just like in *cooking, you can add a bit of this and that to create the perfect dish that’s right for you.

My wish for you is that you will carve out a little bit of time to honor your messages right now and take good care of yourself. We need you! We need that kind, compassionate, beautiful spark that you bring to this world.

Thank you so much for being here, I truly appreciate you!
If you feel guided to work with me this month, I would love to support you whether through and Intuitive Session, Energy Treatment, or a Coaching Session.

I’m sending you love and deepest gratitude from my teeny tiny corner of the world to you.
Love,
Kristy~ xoxo

A Time for Rest

beach.jpg

I’ve been thinking about you and wanted to check in with you and see how you’re doing. We’ve made it to July which feels like such a huge marker and a perfect time to do a little house keeping.

One of the biggest themes that’s been showing up lately has been about creating and carving out time for genuine rest.

Maybe you’ve been getting this message too.

It’s been a pretty loud message for a while but seems to have increased exponentially lately. This message can show up in lots of different ways, usually showing up for us in the ways that resonate for us on an individual level. Maybe some or all of the messages below will resonate for you right now.

Maybe you feel like you’ve been burning the candle at both ends for so long you don’t know how long you’ve been needing a real and genuine rest.

Maybe you feel like most or many of your days are repeating over and over again and you’re marking them by the different clothes you’re wearing each day but for the most part you’re just getting up and getting it done and then going to sleep and doing it all again the next day.
(Trust me, you’re not alone in experiencing this, I’m feeling it and so many people I talk to are feeling it too.)

Maybe you’re just feeling like you need a break and want to have some fun and feel or see a different environment or place after so many months of staying home.

Maybe you’re feeling exhausted but can’t quite put your finger on why that might be because you’re getting the exact right number of hours of sleep per night, you drink the exact right amount of water, you’re doing all the things, and still feel a bit off.

Maybe you’re just feeling a bit burned out.
No matter how this experience or message is showing up for you, please know that you’re not alone and you’re not imagining this. This isn’t a message about needing to push harder or try to do more to move past the hurdles you’re experiencing as exhaustion.

You may be experiencing some residual stress and lethargy from managing all the things you’ve been dealing with for so long as we’ve all moved through this intense time and are still moving through it in different ways each day.

There’s an incremental experience that happens when moving through a prolonged intensity and eventually the body, soul, and mind get to a place where they all collectively say, I need some rest and relaxation.
If you’re finding yourself in this space right now, welcome; you’re in really good company.

This month is often a time when we think about relaxing, restoring, and rejuvenating as it’s often a time when people have more flexibility in their schedules and may even plan holidays and vacations.
Maybe this is traditionally a time that you look forward to getting away and letting go for a while.

Depending on where you live and what’s happening right now, you may or may not be able to plan to do something for a little get away. This in and of itself can lead to more feelings of overwhelm and frustration about another fun experience being postponed or adjusted.

However, no matter what your situation may be, the need for genuine rest is real.

It’s such a strong message right now, that people are finding that if they try to push past this, they are being given opportunities to experience forced rest. (This isn’t fun and often shows up as feeling under the weather.)

So, the theme right now is about finding ways to carve out time for genuine rest, and you can do that even if you’re participating in a staycation again this year.
Focus on the things that make you feel:

  • Happy

  • Joyful

  • Uplifted

  • Relaxed

  • At Ease

  • Rested

  • Comforted

  • Supported

  • Nurtured

  • And ___________________________________

Give yourself permission to lean into activities and situations that fulfill you from the inside out. When we invest in things we love, even in seemingly small doses, we bank energy, enthusiasm, life satisfaction, and we tend to feel more like ourselves too.

Doing things that resonate for us on a soul level helps us to experience more joy, happiness, and a better quality of life. These kinds of investments are worth while in so many ways. When we take time to do these things, even in little pockets throughout the day, we begin to refill our own well which allows us to experience more balance and more rest.

Ask yourself:

  • What do I feel like I need right now?

  • How can I create more joy for myself?

  • What would I love to do right now?

  • How can I make that happen?

  • Is there anything that I could be doing to make this month more fulfilling?

  • How can I increase genuine rest in my life right now?

This month, no matter what your schedule may be, please take some time each day to invest in laughter, fun, joy, and anything that resonates for your soul.
(Even if that means taking a nap and watching one of your favorite movies that you’ve seen over and over again.)

This message or theme is a powerful one that is supporting us in getting back into a place of balance or at least helping us to move closer to that place.

As you honor the messages that are showing up for you right now, you’ll find that you feel more like yourself and more at ease as we move forward together.

I’m sending you so much support as you continue to take really good care of yourself right now.

Please know that I’m here for you to offer you support in any ways that resonate for you whether through a Coaching Session, Intuitive Session, or an Energy Treatment.

I’m sending you a huge hug and so much love from my teeny tiny corner of the world right to you.
Love,
Kristy~xoxo

Reflecting + Retrograding = Reprioritizing

Can you believe it’s officially June and we’re halfway through the year? I don’t know about you, but this year has felt like a wave of repeats in so many ways. Some days feel like they’re happening over and over again while other days and weeks just seem to meld into one another and it feels like I can’t believe another month has passed.

Are you feeling this too?
It’s like we’re collectively and individually getting to experience the malleability of time.

Here we are, halfway through the year, with an equal amount of time ahead of us as the amount of time that is behind us. This is an opportunity to create a marker for ourselves and for the projects or aspects of our lives that we’ve been working through so far in 2021. Maybe you’re like me and really love these kinds of markers because it gives us a chance to do some review, some planning, and some opportunities to see where there’s room for streamlining as well as doubling down on some of the things that are on our list for the year.

If this isn’t really your cup of tea, that’s okay too, even taking a few minutes to think about what your themes for the year have been so far and what kinds of things or aspects you’d like to have more of in the next 6 months (or maybe not so much of) still counts as honoring this 6 month marker. It’s a palpable shift for us no matter which ways we choose to move through this doorway of the year.

In addition to this halfway energy that’s happening for us this month, we’re also moving through Mercury Retrograde right now. Isn’t that perfect timing for a little review of our year so far? During these times we’re often given opportunities to rework, redo, reveal, review, etc. during these retrograde cycles. You can think of the re words that are showing up for you right now; and begin to see some themes that you are personally working through during this retrograde cycle in addition to the things you’re experiencing in your day to day life.

Some of these themes can include but aren’t limited to:

  • Rest

  • Restore

  • Renew

  • Replenish

  • Reset

  • Rejuvenate

  • Relaxation

  • Reinvent

  • Reestablish

  • Regenerate

  • Research

  • Revisit

  • Return

  • Rejoice

  • Revoke

  • Refuse

  • Re____

If you’ve been part of the Chloe Ting sensation over the past year or so, you may actually hear the words and music “rewind time everybody” playing in your head right now when you think about re words and that would be a great example of this energy.

Not only are we being given a chance to review, readjust, and reset our personal plans right now, we’re also experiencing some repeating themes on a larger scale that we’ve all moved through together over the last year and a half too. We’re already seeing severe lockdowns again in the UK, parts of Canada, and there are messages about other locations experiencing similar regulations soon. Even among smaller regions like counties and states there are varying degrees of orders and regulations being implemented at this time.

Some of the things that I’ve seen around this issue include some similar pinches in availability of products and goods that we’ve seen in the last 16 months or so. Depending on where you live, you may have been experiencing some grid and communication issues, especially in the last few weeks. I see more of these kinds of things popping up for many places. Again, we see this is a big theme when we move into a Mercury Retrograde time in any year; so it’s a great time to make sure you’re saving your work, backing up, and keeping your devices charged to the best of your ability.

You may feel inclined to pick up a few extra things you may need from the store, or fill up your gas tank in your vehicle, and have some extra water on hand too. I’m a native southern California kid so we always had earthquake kits set up just in case, and this is a good time to set up some things that you may need or that seem to be running low just in case there’s a pinch in the supply chains.

This is also a good time to do some clearing up around your home and property especially if you live in a state that has fire issues when the weather heats up; and to have things on hand if there are repeats with the grid powering down during the fire season.

As you can see, this is a big moment we’re moving through right now and as a highly sensitive person, I know you’re feeling this big energy too. Please remember that as we continue to move through this time, it’s really important to make sure you’re taking good care of yourself and that you’re building in some quiet recharge time for yourself so you can come back into balance throughout the day. You don’t have to spend a lot of time doing this, and there’s no one way or right way, just the ways that are right for you on any particular day.

It isn’t so much about what you do to honor your needs as a gentle soul but that you do something each day, even if only for a few minutes here and a few minutes there. All of the investments you make to honor your needs and the messages you’re receiving about taking good care of yourself, add up to big positive shifts for you and the way you feel. Yes, you’re worth it!

I’m so looking forward to working with you this month whether you schedule a reading, energy treatment, or coaching session.

I’m wishing you a very gentle and restorative Mercury Retrograde cycle and a wonderful month.

I’m sending you so much love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world right to you!

With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Moving Through + Shifting HSP Burn Out | Tools to Traverse the Turning Tides

beach.jpg

I was having a bit of a rough go trying to decide what to write about as we move into this new month. Sometimes it feels like each day and week are so similar to the one before and other times it feels like there’s so much change happening from one day to the next. Are you feeling this way too? One of the things that has really been showing up for me lately has been the repeating theme about Highly Sensitive People (like yourself) experiencing HSP burn out.

I’m definitely feeling it in my own life and I’m finding it showing up for my clients and friends as well. We’re officially nearing the halfway mark of this year and there are still so many places that are under lockdown orders and still experiencing a lot of restrictions to daily life. You may still be moving through some of this too or know people who are.

This in and of itself has definitely taken a toll, not to mention all of the other intensity, changes, and upheaval we’re seeing all over the globe no matter where we live. So many people have told me that they just feel like they are having a hard time finding balance, feeling like themselves, and finding a way to experience some semblance of peace in their day to day life. There’s lots of feelings of overwhelm and not knowing how to help, and also feeling exhausted from all of the information. If you’re experiencing any of this, I want you to know that you’re not alone.

In fact, you’re in really good company.

It’s not just you.

You’re not the only one having a tough time moving through this time on our planet.

It is a really difficult time and we’re all in it together.

As a sensitive soul it can feel magnified, and that’s not because you’re not trying hard enough.

It’s because it’s really hard.

Take a breath, a big one, in through your nose, and out through your mouth….good.

One more time.

Good job.

One of the most effective ways we can move through this time is to take a little time to check in with how we’re doing and make some adjustments to things that we can change. Taking good care of yourself will allow you to better know how to help someone else and to be ready to help too.

I’ve included 6 things that have been showing up as deep support systems for Highly Sensitive Souls during this time. Please use these as inspirations and ways to help you, but adjust accordingly to make these a fit for you and your needs. I hope these will inspire you to create some tools that will be helpful for you and for your loved ones too.

Change the Channel, Change Your Frequency, Literally. :

Intense frequencies can drain your energy and can create or lead to exhaustion without even realizing it. Just think about that one family member or colleague who always tells you all of their problems non stop; you may feel drained after interacting with them, while they feel better after taking all your energy from you. Changing the channel can help to reduce or eliminate this issue for you. Turn off your television, especially repeating news about trauma and other negative stories. (you can always set a time to check in on that information but don’t need it on all the time.)

Re-set the frequencies in your space; think about layering sounds that are pleasing and supportive for your nervous system, body, mind, and spirit. If you have a sound machine, get it out and play it in the background quietly. Your body will automatically respond to it and it will help to release and manage stress that could be holding space within you. You may also want to layer another gentle sound over that to help create an even more soothing space for you and the people in your home.

Think of walking into a spa or another relaxing place; you’ll notice there are often layered sounds happening to help you instantly shift into a resting state instead of being in the fight, flight, freeze, and fawn state that most people experience throughout the day.

Water:

Increase the amount of water that you’re drinking to help you move stress and tension out of your precious and highly sensitive body. Hydration also helps to increase clear thinking, better quality sleep, reduces cravings for foods and beverages which can have an adverse effect on the body, and helps to keep the organs responsible for cleaning and processing moving and working efficiently.

Pull Your Energy Inward:

You may need to let people know that you’re taking a break from being overly available for all the things. Highly sensitive people like yourself often over extend their energy without realizing they’re doing it, leaving them feeling drained and exhausted. You may need to turn off your phone earlier in the evening, allow some calls to go to voicemail, let emails sit in your inbox, and say no to extra demands on your time so you can find your own footing again and experience some personal life balance. Use this extra time to invest in activities that are restorative and uplifting for you. These things can include creative outlets, reading for pleasure, and yes, even resting.

Sweat:

I know, not the most glamorous thing in the world, but very effective in clearing away intense energies and increasing strength. Moving your body in a way that lets you sweat out any toxins, stress, or repeating scenarios/interactions you’re still thinking about will help you to clear your body and your mind while simultaneously leaving you feeling more like yourself. You’ll also be strengthening your body too which is a win win.

No need to jump into intense workout sessions if this isn’t something you’re already doing; going for a walk is a great full body workout that will allow you to sweat, move, and even get outside. If you’re not able to walk outside, pull out that workout mat, and do some gentle stretching or a gentle workout.

Clear Away the Old:

Let go of the things that are finished for you. Clear up any clutter that could be hanging around, it likes to sneak up when you aren’t looking, often in closets, pantry’s, and well meaning desk piles. That “to be done” stuff adds to the frenetic energy within and around you which over time can make things feel heavy and off. It can lead to overwhelm, feeling frustrated, and that no matter where you look, there’s always something else that needs to get done. Set a timer and do a quick sweep of a room, gathering up anything that is ready to go to the recycle bin, donation station, or to its rightful place in your home.

Cleaning out closets and places where clutter builds can help to lighten your load, literally; while also bringing a sense of peace and calm into your space that translates to more peace and calm in your life too.

Ask for Help:

Let people know what you need. This can be a really tough one for sensitive people, because they don’t want to add anything to anyone else’s plate. However, it’s important to let people who love you know what you need and to ask them for help. It’s also important to ask professional people in your circle for support too. If you need a referral for a service that could help you, ask someone you love and trust who they recommend.

Schedule the sessions that you need to help you, don’t wait for some elusive time where everything will be easier and you have everything figured out and perfectly balanced. You’re here right now, and asking for help and then receiving that help is part of this whole thing we’re doing called life.

I know you’re more comfortable doing the helping, but helpers need to receive help too. Schedule that reading, massage, babysitter, coaching session, hair appointment, energy treatment, or __________.

Whatever it is that you need right now, you know more than anyone what that thing is, please give yourself permission to honor that message you’re receiving. Allowing yourself to receive is one of the most important and powerful ways to help shift you into a space where you feel more like yourself again while also helping your body to come back to balance and homeostasis.

The waves have been rough out there, and the energy has been a bit of a roller coaster but you know what? You’re still here and you’re doing a great job. As you take a little time today, and tomorrow, and the next day to honor your needs and to pull your energy inward, I think you’re going to find you’re feeling more like yourself again.

Please remember to breathe, to go at your own pace, to treat yourself with the same level of kindness, compassion, and love that you so easily give to everyone else in your life, and to grant yourself a little more grace.

You’re not alone. You’re Doing it. You can Keep Doing It.

If you feel guided to reach out for support from me this month, I look forward to working with you and helping you in any way that I can.

I’m sending you so much love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world.

With so much love,
Kristy~xoxo
