Gratitude, Grace, and Gumption

Hello and Happy November!

I hope this finds you well and rested after the weekend. I wanted to send you this edition of the newsletter today so you could enjoy your weekend and unplug from your email a bit and maybe even altogether. Somehow this new month feels like it got here in a hurry and now we’re officially into November and a time change for most people too. This big energy shift at the beginning of the month is a bit of a preview of what’s to come as we move through November 2025.

You may have noticed the uptick in the energy happening over the last several weeks and you may be feeling it continuing to move you forward at a pretty quick pace right now too. If so, you are tuned into the fast, quick, movement that’s currently happening. You may be thinking about what your plans are for Thanksgiving if you’re living in the states or even other festivities and plans coming up. Then you may find yourself thinking, “Why am I thinking about this already?” You may be trying to find ways to consciously slow down so you can enjoy what’s happening right in front of you to help you ground into the present moment; and then you may find yourself thinking about future plans again. If you’re experiencing this round and round or back and forth thought process, take a breath and give yourself some grace. What you’re experiencing is a push pull that’s happening right now. For some highly sensitive people there’s also a very tangible feeling paired with this experience which can show up as a low grade anxiety under the surface of the skin or a feeling of urgency in the heart chakra or in the stomach or solar plexus. You may notice that you’re experiencing a bit of both depending on what’s happening for you.

One of the messages that’s showing up as a support system is about creating opportunities, even seemingly small ones to help you stay in the present while also allowing yourself to make plans for upcoming events. One of the challenges of this energy can lead to feeling like you’re being carried away and missing out on what’s happening right now. The great news is that even 1 action each day can support you in grounding into your present moment; and won’t take away from planning or looking forward to upcoming events. For many people, November cultivates a theme of gratitude; and you don’t have to live in the states to participate in this theme during November. Investing a few minutes each day this month to make a list of 5 things you’re grateful for can really help to put your focus on the present moment while also supporting your body, mind, and nervous system in slowing down. Maybe you’re feeling guided to participate in a 5 minute meditation each day this month or to take a daily walk to clear your mind, move your body, and watch the season changing each day. Maybe you’re being guided to slow down and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee without scrolling. There are no limits to the seemingly small but significant ways that you can slow down and ground into your present moment. This is a powerful way to work with this energy while also supporting yourself at the same time. I see this uptick in the energy and events continuing to move along in this fashion throughout the month and through the rest of the year. This is a great time to begin to practice this present moment exercise so it becomes easier for you each day. I think you’ll also find that it supports you in more ways than one, allowing you to enjoy moments here and there throughout your day, all month long.

With the days getting shorter here in the Northern Hemisphere, and the temperatures getting cooler, you may also find yourself naturally guided to stay inside and to make home and hearth a big priority. You may notice that you want to make comfort, quiet, and coziness a big priority in your day to day life to the best of your ability. You may feel yourself pulling your energy inward and noticing that gentle people, experiences, and environments are very important to you. You may find yourself drawn to slow cooked meals, home made breads, or favorite desserts that you want to make for yourself or others. You may notice that you want to work on some creative projects that have been on the back burner for a while. Maybe warm cozy socks, soft blankets, hot cocoa, and movies are calling you. All of these deep callings, guidance, and natural shifts happening within you are supporting you in slowing down and moving into the quiet and self care aspects of this season and this month. These natural inclinations that you have are also ways that you’re able to ground into the present moment and enjoy the autumnal aspects of November while also looking ahead at upcoming events. As you allow yourself to lean into the natural guidance you’re receiving about how to take good care of yourself, you’ll find that you more easily find that balance between the present moment and the energy trying to pull you forward.

You may notice that taking action helps to soothe the body, mind, and soul while also allowing you stay in the present moment. It’s not about what you choose to do, it’s that you choose something that resonates for you. Sometimes I find that people (particularly highly sensitive people) can get hung up on choosing the right thing which can sometimes lead to analysis paralysis. If you find yourself getting a bit stuck or getting carried away with the quick moving energy, you can ask yourself, “What do I want to do?” “How do I feel?” “What would feel supportive to me right now?” “What do I really want to do?” You will receive a clear message about what is right for you. Then you can take action in ways that honor you and your needs. Sometimes, the answer and the action step is about saying no to things, people, and situations that aren’t a fit for whatever reason. Sometimes staying in the present moment will include prioritizing your peace and well being by staying in and saying yes to an action that is fulfilling and supportive for you.

As we greet the first Monday of the month, allow yourself to start right now with a commitment for your November 2025 season. Choose to take 1 or more action steps each day to support yourself in enjoying and experiencing your present moment in the ways that resonate for you. Allow yourself to truly enjoy this time to be present while also enjoying looking forward to the things to come. You can enjoy both while making the most of your month. You are worth it!

I’m wishing you a beautiful November filled with things, people, and situations that rise up to greet you. I’m wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving~

I would love to work with you if you feel guided to schedule a reading this month. We can focus on some specific things that are showing up as support systems for you or anything that feels like a fit for you right now. You can schedule your session by clicking the link below.

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, straight to you!

Prioritizing Calm, Consistency, and Cozy

It’s October!
I can’t believe I’m waking up and it’s already October. If you love this time of year, whether it’s the hot apple cider, pumpkin spice everything, sweaters, cozy socks, or the beautiful colors that mother nature provides, you’re not alone. Or, if you’re here for spooky season and all the fun and magic that comes with that, welcome to the magical month we call October. No matter what speaks to you this time of year there is something that happens when we officially turn the calendar today. I’m joining you in the excitement, nostalgia, and the intention to pack all my favorite things into the next 31 days to the best of my ability. (That will include a lot of baking, simmer pots, hot drinks, Harry Potter rewatch, and all the cozy vibes.)

While I personally believe that this month officially kicks off operation cozy, this year there are some other themes showing up to offer us some support and focus as we move forward too. You may have noticed over the last several weeks or maybe even longer that you’re receiving a strong message about cultivating a routine that feels supportive for you. Something positive and uplifting that you can focus on that doesn’t take much time but also allows you to see progress as you invest in your routine. Maybe you’ve been guided to get back to a workout schedule that you’ve let go for a bit. Maybe you’re being guided to start something new to shake up your exercise routine a bit. Some people have been guided to do a bit of a clear out of foods that aren’t really resonating for them anymore. Others are being guided to do a daily meditation, journal exercise, or get back to a creative outlet regularly. Some people are being urged to change their sleeping schedules so they go to bed 30 minutes earlier (or more) so they can start their day refreshed in the morning. What have you noticed showing up for you?

Whatever messages you’ve been receiving about starting something new or recommitting to a routine is a powerful message of support right now. In focusing on one or maybe more than one area this month, not only will you cultivate consistency, you’ll create and nurture new neural pathways. (win win) You’ll also find that it helps to reduce tension and stress that may be holding space within and around you, allowing you to support and even recalibrate your nervous system so you feel more calm and more like yourself. These are really important benefits that you can receive no matter what you’re guided to invest in this month. I was shown that this aspect that may seem small is actually a significant shift for you and for everyone who honors this guidance. With increased tensions, stress, and uncertainty being a theme showing up in news cycles consistently, this skill set will be a strong asset in supporting you as you continue to move through this month and the remainder of the year. You may find that you can inspire someone else in your life to make this important shift too.

One of my favorite things about this time of year, it’s really difficult to choose only 1 favorite is the fact that there’s something innate or hard wired within us to begin pulling our energy within. There’s a deep call to slow down, to hunker down, and to enjoy creature comforts every day. Little things like changing up lighting for twinkle lights, a fire in the fireplace, candles, cozy blankets, the fuzziest of socks, all the pillows, a favorite homemade soup simmering on the stove, and crisp October air help to click this feeling into place. It’s like all at once we all feel this call to begin making our spaces calm, comfortable, and cozy. We move into a space where calm and peace become a conscious priority for us and that theme is especially prescient right now. What a perfect time to be focusing on this theme of making our physical spaces and internal spaces a place where we feel calm, comforted, and at peace. This focus automatically supports us in choosing relationships and experiences that resonate with these priorities too. You’ll find that as you make this shift, the other shifts and changes happen organically, almost as if by magic. This deep call to make calm, gentle, and peaceful spaces a part of our daily lives is especially timely for us, and any investment in this goal will be a worthy use of your time and energy. You will yield the benefits of cultivating these themes this month and as you move forward.

People often ask me why I believe this month tends to bring “more” connections, communication, synchronicity, or messages from angels, guides, or departed loved ones. Maybe you’ve pondered this too. I don’t think there’s one “correct answer” on this topic; however, I do believe it’s a combination of things happening at the same time. I do see the veil thin during this time of the year which allows for more connections and moments of clear messages coming through in all different ways. However, we actually receive messages all the time, sometimes it’s just not as easy for people to notice them due to their busy lives. This brings me to another aspect of what I see contributing to this experience for people…the quiet, calm, and peaceful focus of this time of year allows for an easier connection or a “stronger” connection to be experienced. A combination of quieting the mind and the body paired with the thinning veil and of course the energy infused into this month all work together to help increase these experiences for people. If you’re wanting to increase your connection this season, this is a great time to pay extra attention to messages you see, hear, feel, and know. If you enjoy dream journaling this is a great time to write down your dreams throughout October to look for themes and insights. It’s also a great time to schedule a reading, if that feels like a fit for you. Remember you can always ask your guides, angels, and departed loved ones to give you a message that you’ll easily notice and understand.

This month is filled with so many beautiful changes, which are happening all around us each and every day. These changes are impacting you and your life too. The more that you can allow yourself to enjoy and lean into these changes the more you’ll find that you automatically click into the themes and messages of prioritizing calm, consistency, comfort, and of course, cozy. These are so important for all of us across the board, but perhaps even more so at this time we are called to make peace a personal priority.

Make a wish list or a dream board for all things October. Play in the energy of all things fall, autumnal, pumpkin spice, cozy books, and all the aspects that light up your heart and soul as you think about all the ways to enjoy this entire magical month. By playing, being joyful, and loving the things that call to us, we automatically shift into calm, comfort, and cozy too. In fact, the more often we allow ourselves to do this, to laugh, play, and have fun we cultivate consistency too. (win win win) So, go big with your operation cozy this month in all the ways that call to you; it’s so worth it in so many ways! You are 100% worth it!

I’m wishing you a wonderfully magical and cozy October! May it bring you all the joys and whimsy your heart desires while also supporting you in infinite ways!

As always, I’m sending you love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world straight to you!

With deepest love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Cultivating a Sacred Space

I hope this finds you well as we welcome, October.
Just like the quote above, I’m also glad that I live in a world where there are October’s. This month is full of change and tends to kick off the Autumn festivities (in the Northern Hemisphere) while also beginning the season of pulling our energy inward. This month creates a beautiful dance between celebrating the Autumn season and the call to bring our attention into that quiet space within.

You may have some things on your to do list that are quintessentially representative of October. Maybe you like to go apple picking, or to your local pumpkin patch. Maybe you like to photograph the colors of the leaves as they change this month. Maybe you like to host an Autumn hot cider porch party to mark the season or something else entirely that feels like October to you. In any ways that you mark this season, this month offers us a lot of opportunities to really integrate into the new season and to see the changes happening all around us.

You may notice that as the leaves are changing outside, you feel changes happening within you too. As we’re guided to spend more time indoors with the days getting shorter and the evenings getting cooler; you may find yourself releasing things that are no longer serving you. An increase in quiet time often allows us to hear the messages and guidance we’re receiving about changes we’re being guided to make within our own lives. You may find that you’re guided to invest in more rest, self care, and even creative outlets that have been on the back burner for you. You may also be guided to find ways to create more gentle and soothing spaces within your home. All of these things are supportive and nurturing for you and can help you to care and comfort yourself and the people and pets in your home.

Light is often a big topic during this month as the beautiful golden light is so prevalent throughout October. Many people intuitively cultivate this golden light within their homes as well. You may notice that you pull out warm lighting whether with twinkle lights, candles, or even by lighting your fireplace. There is a deep calling for us to cultivate sacred spaces within our homes, and that call is often increased during this time of year. You may already be answering that call naturally without even thinking about it. Creating a space or spaces that feel calming, cozy, and comforting allows for you and those in your home to truly let down and to decompress while also being supported at the same time. Sometimes, the simplest shifts like a small table next to a chair can be an invitation to enjoy a good book or a great place to journal. Bringing out some soft throw blankets, coloring books, a knitting basket, or that pile of books that you’ve been meaning to read and placing them in arms reach can help to cultivate spaces that are supportive and calming. These are subtle additions to a space that won’t take up a lot of room but will bring so much to you and to your home. These are simple but effective ways that we can cultivate and invest in sacred spaces within our homes and within our daily lives.

People often mention to me that they experience more messages, guidance, or connection from their angels, guides, or departed loved ones during this month. (You may notice this too.) Some people ask why I think this may be; and I think there are several reasons for this experience. I do find the veil to be quite thin during this month which can increase our connections with our spiritual support team and departed loved ones. I also find that as we become quiet and begin to focus inward, we more easily hear or experience the connection that’s happening within and around us. The more that we take care of ourselves and clear away the things that are no longer serving us, we also clear the decks so to speak and find it easier to notice the messages that are coming through for us throughout the day. All of these aspects contribute to an increased connection for us which is why I think people tend to experience more messages or connection during the month of October. By cultivating a space that feels supportive for you this season you also intuitively create space for you to increase your own personal connections. You may notice that you see repeating angel numbers like 222, 444, or 11:11 more frequently. You may find feathers, coins, hear meaningful songs, or see images of angels. You may interact with people who have the same name as a departed loved one, or even experience dreams about your departed loved one. If you want to increase these kinds of connections, you can ask to experience them and then when you do, simply notice them and say thank you. You’re not alone, and when we can clear away some of the excess noise from our busy and modern lives, we can more easily hear, see, feel, know, and experience the connections that are happening all around and within us.

I’m wishing you a beautiful and magical month filled with things, people, and experiences that feel uplifting and supportive for you. I’d love to hear how you’re cultivating your sacred spaces this month. I’m looking forward to adding warm lighting to my home, baking bread, and making lots of soup, stew, chili, and all the things in my little Dutch oven, plus lots of knitting.

I’m sending you so much love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, right to you!
With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

Preparing for the Subtle Shift

Hi, I hope this finds you well as we welcome September.

We’ve finally made it to the months I affectionately refer to as the “bers.” Each year reaching September feels like a palpable marker and the beginning of the quiet and subtle shift that begins to move us into a new energy and a new season. Turning the page on the calendar for this month seems to bring with it a promise and a knowing that we are shifting not only the season and temperatures but we’re also beginning to shift within ourselves as well.

Even if you live somewhere like me where the temperature is still in the triple digits (yes, seriously) there is a feeling that we’re already inside the shift. We can look around and see aspects of this in our daily lives with the days beginning to shorten, the garden harvest being brought in for processing, and the cooler and crisp morning air. You may also have little ones back in school or you may be back in school too. There are all these little whispers around us letting us know that the summer season (for those of us in the northern hemisphere) is coming to a close.

When we think about the season of summer, it holds a lot of outward energy. We think about being outdoors, visiting with friends, taking a trip or two, working on projects, or even things like cooking or grilling outside. As we move through this in between time of the last few weeks of summer with autumn in our sightline we can take this time to reflect on what our summer themes and takeaways were for us and begin to think about moving gently but steadily into our next season.

I find this time of year to be a bit magical, the in between time of these two seemingly different seasons. We can use this as a way to prepare for something that we want to focus our attention on as we move into this next part of the year. Was there something showing up for you this season that has been on your list to invest in a bit more? Maybe slowing down is a theme showing up for you. Maybe pulling your energy inward and focusing on some inside activities or personal passion projects are beginning to tug at your heart strings. Our bodies and souls understand the rhythm of our seasonal cycles and we can feel those shifts within us too. Sometimes it shows up as a feeling of being ready for the next thing or rather feeling a bit done with the current energy. However the message shows up for you; it’s that same wisdom, you know it’s time for a change and mother nature delivers that shift right on time. Part of the magic for me (and maybe you find this for yourself too) is that even with one season being about outward energy and the next season pulling us inward, they are really working together hand in hand to support us in finding and experiencing balance.

As we move toward this new season on September 22nd; you may feel guided to tune into the way you’re feeling each day to get a sense of where you’re being guided to shift and prepare. This doesn’t have to take a long time, even a couple of minutes in the morning will give you a clear message about how you’re feeling and what you’re being called to do to honor your personal shift. Maybe you’ll receive messages about pulling out an extra throw blanket for the sofa or your bedroom. Maybe you’ll be guided to pull out some books that have been on your reading list and set them out where you can enjoy them. Maybe you’ll be guided to look through some of your favorite hearty recipes for inspiration. Maybe you’re already itching to fill your home with the scent of apple spice simmer pots, diffuser blends, or candles. Perhaps, you’re being guided to get your fall garden sewn, chop a little more wood for your wood pile, and put up a few more jars of food. These seemingly small messages lead to the shift we’re moving through together. As you honor the guidance that you’re receiving during this magical in between time, you’ll find that you’re ready for your new season and that you’ll be ready right on time. While your messages may look similar to someone else you know, they may also be different, because your messages are yours. If you feel like you could use some extra help in hearing your messages, you can always ask your angels and your guides for a clear message in your physical world that you’ll easily notice and understand. That is one of my all-time favorite ways to ask for a message, and I’ve found it to work great. You’ll also know by the way that you feel, trust yourself and please give yourself permission to lean into this magical time as we move from summer into autumn.

I’m wishing you a beautiful shift and I hope that it is filled with messages and guidance of support as we move through this change together.

I’m sending you so much love and support from my teeny tiny corner of the world, right to you!
With love and gratitude,
Kristy~xoxo

How to Notice and Work Through Feelings of Being Unsettled

2.png

I just wanted to check in with you about a strong theme that’s been showing up over the last several days.

There’s this energy that’s been showing up, a feeling of needing to get going. A deep feeling, a pull, and a deep beckoning to get things done and to hit the ground running. While there are changes happening and people going back to work in some places, it’s important to give yourself permission to be where you’re at right now.

You may have inspiration and motivation to get some things done on your lists, which is absolutely wonderful! By all means, get your projects and plans set into motion in the ways that are right for you.

However, you’re not in a race or in a competition with anyone else.

It’s natural to feel the energies around you which may be buzzing with getting back to work and back to all the things. However, this level of intensity may make you feel like you have to play beat the clock or that the stay at home order is running out and you won’t have “enough” to show for your time at home.

If you’re feeling like you wish you could’ve done more during this time at home, please let that go.

If that should’ve done this, or that, or… have found you, please let that go.

You’re doing the best you can. We’re all doing the best we can with where we’re at and that’s all anyone can do. (or expect of you.)

This has been a unique and challenging time and you’ve moved through it in the ways that were right for you. It might not look like someone else’s experience and that’s okay.

Maybe you were baking all the sourdough
Maybe you were doing all the gardening
Maybe you were doing all the meditation and prayer work
Maybe you were doing all the zoom sessions
Maybe you were checking in on the elderly neighbors

Maybe you weren’t

Maybe you were taking things one day at a time
Maybe you were taking things one hour at a time on some days
Maybe you were taking care of yourself and those you’ve been sheltering in place with in the ways that you needed at that particular time.
Maybe you leaned into some much needed rest, quiet, and healing that you’ve needed for quite some time.

No matter what this time has looked like for you, it is Enough.

You are Enough.

Being where you are is important and you’re doing the best you can.

If you’re doing the best you can, that’s all anyone can expect of you. (no matter what you’ve been told by family members, mentors, supervisors, strangers on the gram, and yourself.)

So, breathe, check in with where you are and how your energy feels right now.

Ask yourself:

Am I being guided to do something on my list, today?

Or

Am I being guided to add a bit of rest and self care to my list, today?

Whatever is right for you, right now, in this moment, today; please give yourself permission to go at your own pace and focus on what is right for you, and only you.

So, I’m just checking in to tell you that you are enough today and every day.

Your stay at home time has been what it was meant to be for you, and it will continue do so for as long as you’re at home.

I’m sending you support, comfort, and a high five from my home to yours.

With love,
Kristy~ xoxo
